"This was my first time trying Giovanni's after living in Hoboken for four years, and I kind of wish I tried it sooner. We kept our NYE tradition of ordering a pizza, but this year, we got to order a couple of pies since we were having some friends over and were planning to stay in. We ordered the Giovanni's Special pizza (Pepperoni, mushroom, sausage, peppers, and onion) and the Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza. Both were a hit. Honestly, you can't go wrong with the special pizza. It's a classic. The CBR as well what's not to love about it? But people seemed to like the special more since that one was all gone. The CBR didn't heat up that well the next day because the chicken and bacon becomes dried out. Guess that's just a sign to eat it all on the first day! Will definitely be ordering from here more often and trying some of their other pies!"

"Thank you for giving my wife me a memorable moment for her birthday. By far the best pizza I’ve had in JC/Hoboken. The portions of the large size pizza is amazing, not only are the ingredients fresh but very filling; like a NY slice brick oven style. The wings were cooked perfectly they also have more available flavors aside from there signature (buffalo). "Another spot I've finally been able to make it to. Whenever people talk about the best pizza in Hoboken, Tenth St. is always mentioned. Expectations were high, but the pizza was really good.I got a classic with mushrooms. Was delicious. Crust was just crispy enough. Good balance of toppings including some shaved parmesan basil. Maybe a hint of olive oil? Good stuff.I personally prefer slice joints for the sole reason that I can just get 2 slices and be good to go. What happens with full pie spots is I just absolutely devour any pizza that the rest of my family does not eat. And that is dangerous to my waistline. We ate about half while we were there, and I housed the rest somehow later that evening. Ah, what a sad state my self control is in these days.But yeah, fantastic pizza, staff was nice. A nice woman came out from the kitchen to check on us and was super kind to my daughter. Then I made a bad bald joke and she escaped back to the kitchen. It happens more often than you think.Overall, great spot, that's unfortunately only open after 4pm on weekdays, earlier on weekends (updated after owner response, thx for the correction). Hope I can find an opportunity to come again with a slightly larger group."

"Nice pub with tons of TVs for watching any sort of sport. Went for football Sunday and all of the 1pm games were on at the same time so it was great to be able to see all of the action. However, it must be the only game in town because they really jack up the prices. A simple bud light bottle is 7$, had a few and my bill was already 50$"
