"The mojarra was cooked to perfection and the drinks were very tasty and strong. They were pretty busy on my visit, so the service was a bit long. Love the decor. Will definitely visit again"

"The margaritas are absolutely bomb and strong. Prices are about 10-20 a plate per person. Food is just ok in my opinion. Some dishes are definitely better than others. Service was great, our waitress was extremely nice and attentive. They almost always have a game playing on the TV too. The only negative thing that I can really think of are the restrooms. Men's and women's are just one stall and not the most pleasant. There's usually a wait to use it. One restroom for about 80 people is not the funnest. As long as you don't use, you're good! I would still come back though."

"Pretty good! Food was tasty. Guac and cheese dip was really good and typical of a Mexican food restaurant. Service was solid. Not really much to write negative about, so I'll give it 5 stars. My only very small complaint is how crowded it can get in that little area, especially if you have kids."

"I like going to places I've never been, I made a good choice. I came on day it was very empty( early) out waiter was informative, funny. My drink was delicious, my dish was huge, but a lil too much oil for me. They have a HUGE menu btw, so I can't wait to try some other ones."

"So I’ve been eating here for about 20 years and a lot has changed since. Not only did the remodel the restaurant. But everything else changed as well. The restaurant use to give off a homey vibe. Made you feel like you was at a family gathering but now it feels a little cold. The food is still good but you can tell it wasn’t made with love like it use to be. They no longer serve virgin daiquiris which has been my go to drink since I was a little girl. And I do not drink. Nonetheless, go eat here. It’s good. I just miss the old Monterrey."

"The baked fish is not disappointing. Actually, I was surprised how good that was. Usually I would order it fried, but what the hell. Texas Margarita needs help, not sure what's going on, but it's strong, I like that, it's just the ingredients r intense somewhere. Love the place."

"Went there last night, wonderful meal. I’ve been there twice and although I don’t genuinely enjoy Mexican food, their rice is incredible and the shrimp is amazing (I’ve gotten both the spicy and the garlic and butter sauce, both are great) Plus I had the most amazing server, Katilyn, she was absolutely incredible. Always kind and got exactly what I wanted whenever I needed it, and she was so fun she introduced me to her coworkers! Axle is really nice and there was a girl (who’s name I can’t remember at the moment) who was incredibly funny and would randomly check on me and ask me things to the tune of “How’s everything going?” And things like that. Amazing service and if you go there ask if Katilyn is on staff! By the way, yes it is spelled Katilyn not Kaitlyn."
