"We just returned from a 10 day stay in Mahahual and had breakfast at Caribbean's Life almost every day. The servers are wonderful, and the location is perfect! We really enjoyed the salsa with the chorizo and egg tacos. Yum! We will visit again next time we are in town!"

"Estuvimos de paso un día, el lugar muy agradable, con vista excelente a la playa, la atención personalizada del dueño el cual no recuerdo en este momento, la comida variada y excelente en cuanto a costo, los paseos en la banana estupendos, mis niñas lo disfrutaron mucho, hay cayac, una margarita de cortesía. Lo recomendamos mucho."

"When we arrived to the restaurant we beat the crowd by a couple of minutes and all of our food arrived very quick and was super tasty, from the carpaccio to the margarita and pizza Papi. The owner Miguel was very accommodating and friendly as were all of the waiters. The restaurant does get very busy and I would recommend to arrive and have a few drinks and relax, the food may take a little longer than other places but it's definitely worth the wait.The place is super cheap and a must visit for families or couples. We were seven people including four kids and we had a fabulous evening."

"We went because of the tripadvisor ratings. We had lunch and I would say we enjoyed the food. I would call it Italian Fusion. It's smaller than it seems in photos, kind of like a bistro. Overall, everything about this experience was average. I wasn't fond of their "take" on the caprese salad, but the taste wasn't half bad. We would go again but we certainly don't have high expectations."

"This is a very simple, basic place that we stopped for lunch on the way back to Chetumal from the ruins. We had absolutely exquisite shrimps and ice-cold beers while we looked beyond this beautiful lagoon. The young man who served us practically did not speak English and our Spanish is a step over not existent, but it has worked everything. Many smiles and so kind. It is very cheap, very simple, but also wonderful."

"We stayed in Mahahual for 2 nights and discovered Kimbara by accident which was great luck. The service is warm and welcome, the best we had in Mexiko during our 2 weeks trip. Ask for their catch of the day. We had a very fresh fish lovely prepared. The ambience inside could have been more inviting, but that does not matter when having great food!!"
