"State and main always serves delicious food! We are frequent guests at State and Main in Hamilton. I am a vegetarian, but I prefer to eat vegan options when I go out if there is a choice. State and Main caters to all dietary needs and I love that I have a few different vegan options here and they are always so accommodating. Service is fantastic here, we have never had a bad experience!"

"Went to Ora with a couple friends for food and drinks the other night and had a great time.Vibe was fun, which I'd have to say is because of their servers/managers always being is an upbeat mood. We were seated by one of the owners (we think) who had us laughing instantly which set the tone for our evening. Our server Riah started us off and she was just as energetic and fun as the manager. We all are wine drinkers and the wine list there is large and more than capable of pleasing any wine fan. We all ordered pizzas and apps to share which were all on point, wood oven pizza just tastes better! Stand out was the stuffed mushrooms (a generous portion) and the pork tenderloin pizza, sooo good. The tables around us seemed to be enjoying themselves as well. So if you are a local or in town for an event in the area hit this place up for sure!Visited on a Monday with friends around 7pm."

"Downtown Hamilton location with great atmosphere and excellent food. There were three of us for lunch mid week. Our server was very attentive and informed us that the menu was new this week, and does change every week or so depending on local ingredients, and the creativity of the chef/owner. We sat in a cozy window seat near the woodburning pizza oven. With difficulty deciding, we opted to order three different menu items and share. The margarita pizza was delicious and fresh with basil and homemade sauce. Fabulous crust, thin, but not overcooked. Done to perfection. We also shared the parradelle pasta (may be spelled wrong)! which was a broad noodle made fresh that day. Again delicious. If you were having this as a main dish, the serving seemed small for the $$, but was certainly worth the taste. Lastly we also shared a wonderful beet, quinoa, greens, pumpkin seeds, etc etc. salad. The dressing was light with a bit of citrus. Very good. In all we enjoyed everything and would recommend Born and Raised and will go back again."

"Since this review. We 've been here over 5 times since and Born and Raised has really impressed. Service is great and food like always is delicious. Hate only giving this restaurant 3 stars but it only deserves 3 for my last two visits. Been here 5-6 times and have thoroughly enjoyed the first 4. Place looks amazing, food is delicious and love how the owner is involved, usually making the pizza 's. But the last two times we have been served by the same waiter and he has made both visits unpleasant. First visit, my girlfriend inquired about purchasing a painting on the wall and he looked and responded to her like she was an idiot. Second visit, we brought my kids and ordered their food right away so they can eat quickly (it was the meatballs) after waiting over 15 mins for him to come back, he walked passed me, I said 'excuse me ' and he rolled his eyes. I said, sorry, am I bothering you?. He then took our order and took a change for the better. Less than 10 mins later they served the pizza that I ordered, we waited to eat until the kids meatballs arrived which took an addition 10-15 mins. They then brought my girlfriends food, she ordered four scallops and he brought us two. I told him it was incorrect, he acknowledged it was his fault and asked if we wanted the other two but we declined because we didn 't want to wait an addition 20-25 mins for them. A few mins later he brought us a pasta dish, said 'fortunately for us, there was an extra one made ' like he was doing us a favor. No body at the table ate it because it had mushrooms and none of us like mushrooms. All said and done, I wasn 't looking for free food or a discount except maybe they should 've charged us half price for the 4 scallops instead of the full price for the two they brought us. The food we did receive was amazing, the wine was delicious (horseshoes and hand grenades). We 100% will return but I refuse to be served by that waiter again."

"I recently tried this place for the first time and ended up going here 3 times in a span of 2 weeks. It was really good every time and has now become my go-to.Tried there Cheese Margherita and Meat Lover pizza the first time I went there. (Pictures are from the first take out). The pizzas were amazing. I added oregano to the Meat Lover and chilli flakes to the Margharita. They were both great. The ingredients are of good quality and the dough tastes great with that woody flavor and crispness.During the next 2 visits, I tried their Buffalo chicken on qualiflower dough and wild pepperoni. They both tasted great. The qualiflower dough is great and tastes similar to regular dough but I would stick to the regular dough everytime just because the regular dough is too good. Also, their lemon pepper aioli is great too.I tried their sausage and pepper pasta which was good but I will stick to the pizzas as they are really really good.Tip: add the oregano to every pizza and maybe the chilli peppers if you are ok with the spice. It is not that spicy but has a great flavor and a slight kick.This place is decently priced."
