"We’ve stayed and eaten at The Guinness Arms several times. The accommodation remains excellent and the staff are all lovely and attentive. However, our meal on this occasion was a little below our previous experiences. I would, at this stage, still recommend the accommodation and the restaurant as the overall experience is still very good. Hopefully it’s not the signs of a new chef and a general decline. We’ll be staying again in the new year and will hope for a return to their previous standard of food and menu."
