"We booked very last minute for dinner before the theatre, and had to leave within an hour, we let them know this and they were very accommodating. Excellent service, fast and friendly! The food and wine were fantastic, and lovely ambience. My heel broke en route and they lent me a bottle of superglue to help fix it (successfully I might add). Really lovely place, went above and beyond for us and I can’t recommend enough!"

"This was a meet up with local friends who are regulars here. Our first time and we were not disappointed. The menu choices were first rate, good choice set menu if you are on a budget but the a la carte had everything. The lamb and haibut were exceptional, as was the scallop and belly pork starter."

"We were rushed on arrival and pushed to give choice of food wine, staff knew we were going to a concert. We were then left sitting for over an hour! We asked on more than one occasion for our food and met various excuses. I would not go again, although a beautiful restaurant with lovely views. In restaurant favour they did take a percentage off the final bill."

"Where do I start initially, the evening started well, the staff were great. Staff: 8/10 Food: 5/10 Food was basic Ambience/Music: 1/10 The Driver advised us that we can play our music, so we created our playlist, bought our own devices, laptops, cables etc....Everything got plugged in, and we were ready to go. The music kept cutting out; we couldn't even hear the music being played, the speakers were not functioning. One of our guests eventually fixed the speakers; the music still was cutting out. The staff tested the cable, tested the power supply; it clearly was not working; we spent 3 hours trying to resolve this issue. Finally, we were offered an alternative solution, portable speakers, which could have been provided earlier? However, at this point, the ambience had died, and we had to take the party elsewhere. We were offered £100.00 worth of drinks, bearing in mind the average price for drinks were £8.00, A very disappointing evening. Advice to The Driver Team: Ensure to check your appliance/systems before an event."

"This is a lovely restaurant, frequented by well heeled Spanish ex pats. The service is exceptional. We had two super professional Spanish ladies looking after us with smiles and good cheer. The food is delicious. I have not given it an overall 5* simply because it is very expensive, and the food is extremely rich. It reminded me of classic French food served many decades ago. Amazing, but a little dose of green salad or plain something would have helped."
