"Absolutely lovely experience. The fact that the place is essentially a house was adorable. Great vibes, excellent service by all. Felt very welcome as soon as I stepped in. Food was also great, the shrimp and butternut squash soup was fantastic. The pork chop was cooked perfectly, the grits were a little on the salty side but not excessively so. The bread pudding was also very good as were the cocktails."

"In short, I received a call from maypop on the late Friday afternoon. I'll notify you that they'll be closed on Sunday for osters. that was strange to me, as I had made an online letter table for a birthday dinner on Easter Sunday. When I called maypop back, they told me that there was a big mistake and they had found out before a week, but they were hoping opentable wanted to fix the problem. they didn't have that, and they didn't want to call me and tell me that I don't have dinner reservations for this Sunday to Friday afternoon. it was my man's birthday and it was East Sunday and now I had nowhere to go because everyone was booked or closed. so maypop her customer service was terrible and they have not taken responsibility for the screwing and completely owed to open table. You never apologise. terrible! service."

"I?m sorry to say, this place was essentially just?okay. Alexis was a great server, outdoor seating was pleasant, but our burger?just not good. Shredded cheddar on top?baked potato with barely any butter, packaged bacon bits?it could be a lot better with very little effort. I can?t speak to the inside, so maybe that would have helped a bit?but hard to say. With that said?I enjoyed my drink! Thanks for the recommendation, Alexis!"
