"I had a fantastic birthday meal at the Victoria Hotel. They made it special by giving me a birthday card. I started with delicious tomato and mozzarella bruschetta paired with Pinot Grigio wine. The sea bass for the main course was perfectly cooked, and the Pinot Noir Rosé wine complemented it well. I also enjoyed an espresso martini at the beginning. For dessert, the four cheeses with Armagnac were a great choice. The service by Flo and the team was attentive, and the restaurant had a great ambiance. Both my partner and I had a wonderful evening, and the bill of £149 felt like good value for the quality and quantity of food and drinks. Thank you, Victoria Hotel!"

"Nice setting for dinner, friendly waiting staff and prompt service. The food was tasty and offered some different choices to what we’ve tried before. The brisket and charcoal pancake for starter was tasty, so too was the onion tart although perhaps a touch small on the portion size.Main courses were cooked well and a good choice of desserts on offer. Both went for the blueberry cheesecake which was a nice way to finish off the meal. Worth a mention for the pale ale beer brewed for the Eric’s business. Definitely worth a try, lovely choice."

"Absolutely amazing food. Really really not great waitress. We waited 5 minutes for her to return with the ketchup and she didn't have the tartar which came another five minutes later. Fish sandwich was mostly cold by then.... Came back way quicker with and for the check though. Avoid peach shirt waiter/waitress when possible. Seeing lots more of the blue shirts. Again fantastic food that was worth the wait- just not the wait for the sauces."
