"This place has a really cool mood. I just had my first visit to a rather quiet Thursday night, but the experience was unforgettable! We had really good drinks that our server Tyler recommended based on our preferences. The flavors were unique and well designed. We decided to get the 6 course tasting menu and add a bar snack (deviled Egg). My favorites were the cured yellow fin tuna over sticky rice, mushrooms and other things that it tastes smoke and earth with the right amount of acidity and the devil's egg! Also the pastry we had after Dessert was the best!!! (Something like a cream puff with half sweet chocolate and a crispy raspberry massage) All dishes were well balanced. The overall experience was whimsical with its use of gastronomic science as a theme to create textures and improve flavors. Very unique for the area. Annnd is extremely affordable at $39pp for 6 courses. Next time I have to try a drawing board. I can't wait to come back!"

"Ate lunch here on a Sunday about 3 weeks ago. Very tiny but nice location with very limited seating. Ordered our food and noticed that every table was occupied. Later noticed that most tables did not have any food. An hour and 10 min wait to receive our food we were able to get a table. My wife is a type 1 diabetic and the long wait caused her to have a low blood sugar event. Complained to workers and received a half hearted apology. Crepes were NOT worth the wait. Suggest packing a lunch to eat while waiting for your order. Don't think we will bother to come back."

"I got the berry immune smoothie. Barista was very helpful and patient as I looked through the menu. She also offered to use apple juice instead of orange juice since their oranges were tart. It's a decent drink but extremely overpriced $12 for a 16 ounce smoothie is a little ridiculous. The peaches and greens my husband got was not good at all for a green smoothie and, again, very overpriced. Overall, very friendly service, okay drinks, and high price."

"Aw man. We didn’t even get to try the pizza. Myself, and 9 other members of my family wanted to grab a slice before Winterfest last night. We got there at 5. One girl was at the front. When we came in, she said “I gotta go to the bathroom.” TEN minutes later, she came back out. We are the only ones in there so they’re not busy. We ask for a large cheese pizza, she says “that’s gonna be at least an hour.” Well we couldn’t wait that long and the girl was rude, so we happily went to down to Granby st pizza which was awesome. I know places are short staffed and times are tough. I support local and, as a former waitress, understand how important it is to be patient. But this was beyond that. They clearly did not want our business and the girl working didn’t want us bothering her. We were really looking forward to trying this place, but we would never again go here. It was just an overall ridiculous situation and I’m surprised anyone can stay open doing business this way."

"Rodger Brown, known for the name, makes people ask about this facility. It is nothing spectacular, took about 7 minutes or more to sit, no one to welcome when you go, those who go to see just as if you are invisible. No, they weren't busy. Our waitress was friendly, food was just okay. I ordered a mushroom and Swiss burger, bungalow was hard cold as if roasted and waiting for burgers???????? The meat was well seasoned, but I had to wait extra time for Mayo. The steak quesadilla was Bland and jasmine rice, hard- unknown extra $2 for a side he did not even eat. Always heard by Rodger Brown Restaurant/Bar, well it's okay; doing something else, going, but could be better."
