"Fantastic place! Much more than just gelato. High quality, great tasting food, friendly staff and very clean. The Domenico sandwich was excellent and, of course, so is the gelato. Indoor and outdoor seating (covered and uncovered) and relaxing music that lets you focus on your food."

"River City Café, Socastee. My wife was dying to try it. The food was amazing. The service was great. There's nothing bad I could say about this place. I will definitely go again. They have a nice size menu. I would like to go back and try other things. I drink a lot of soda, so the waitress kept filling the cup without me having to ask, five thumbs up for that."

"3rd time is not the charm. After 2 positive visits I got to watch one of my best friends get berated by a manager tonight. It was a disgusting display of arrogance toward my party. I like to consider my self very in tune with the south carolina craft beer screen and my friend is a life long service industry manager. When management walks over to you and does not apologize for the 25min wait for no food he had after my wife and my self we're done with our entire meal is ridiculous. When he was approached and yelled at that he needs to be understanding that his food was 25min late because of a big party after he said I understand that your busy but I can't wait anymore is a disgusting...read more"

"Used to love this place however it's now fun trying to eat and swat gnats. The last couple times we have gone we were pestered by gnats in our food and buzzing around our heads. We will not eat there or buy their food any more because I'm sure they are in their kitchen and in the food."

"On vacation and wanted to try their food. Rode past for a few days and seen how busy it is. Read reviews and seems worth a try. I ordered 3 pc chicken dinner with Mac cheese and potato salad as a side with a biscuit. The chicken was so good. Crispy, seasoned very well and juicy on the inside breast and 2 wings . Wasn't happy with the potato salad , extreme taste of mustard , had no other flavor other than mustard. Mac cheese it seemed to be boxed ,not homemade as I would have thought. I even ordered an extra side . I got a regular roll instead of a biscuit thinking it would have been homemade . Staff was polite and friendly . I would go back for their chicken but I'll skip the sides."

"Sweet family owned Restaraunt/Bar. they have a dozen maryland style crumbling and also a trio of Snow,King and Jonah crawling. all were properly cooked and tasteful! also their Slave in law, was a vinegar-style shiny, not mayo. also good guards. our server has made a great job and the manager treated us too little lemon cutard pies: would recommend!"

"Very expensive for what you get. Even if they are packed, do not wait to very little. Many seats inside and outside. Great service, although bar drinks and food take a while to get out. I would recommend the pineapple drinks especially the shark attack (will stain your lips blue, but it's totally worth it! . I don't enjoy many of their soda-based drinks bc, which is all I tasted, and I'm usually not a soda drinker at all. The grilled chicken sandwich was delicious and definitely worth it. The dirty nachos aromas of pineapple salsa and chili just didn't fit me well. FYI acid cream will run you a dollar extra. Also note that a mandatory congratulation is automatically added to the invoice, and the servers ask you to consider more tips. It did not prevent me from coming daily, but it is worth mentioning when you try to eat budget and decide to eat a place. "
