"Eric was brilliant at accommodating me and my family to watch the football in this great wine bar that also does Leffe on tap and a great selection of meats if you get hungry. I really nice cosy relaxed atmosphere with super friendly staff, a must visit!"

"We went there to take "moule avec frites" and we had them; quality was low level, the moules were cold and not cleaned properly, but service even worst: no kindeness, the waiter forget to bring towels and we had to ask twice. We were supposed to eat with all inclusive formula at about 15 euro each, but they charged us what we drinked (1 glass of wine and 2 cokes). Do not recommend at all."

"Warm, attentive service. Outstanding food; the courgette flowers were perfectly fried for a delicate crunch. The cod beautifully cooked and balanced with the black garlic purée and al dente vegetables, and the banoffee was the perfect finish. Along with a glass of Kir it came to €68 a very reasonable price for such a meal."

"Go there Fattorino is a welcome addition to the overpriced, bland fast food outlets in Juan les Pins. Friendly staff, great prices and well cooked food. If you visit France you see burgers and frites everywhere however its clear Fattorino is a notch above the competition. They speak French and I think English. TRANSPORT: Car parking is on the street, or 5 minutes walk at the public carpark on avenue L 'Esterel. The train station is 2 minutes walk, and under 5 minutes walk from major bus stops for bus 1 and 31 (Antibes) or buses 200 or 250 (Airport). THE RESTAURANT: The place is small with 3 tables inside and 2 on the pavement but they do a roaring takeaway trade from what I saw. I stopped in recently for a meal with my 5 year old and baby (note: there 's not much room inside for a baby stroller/pram however they were super accommodating to me parking it up in the middle between the tables). The toilet is ground level but it 's single door width only so not accessible with a stroller or wheelchair. The whole restaurant, toilet and kitchen were spotlessly clean. We ordered 2 cheeseburger 'Menu Smart ' deals great value for €8 each for burger, fries and drink. The burgers were delicious! (Be aware if you live outside France you won 't get salad, tomato, gherkin etc in your burger as standard in France). The burger buns were fresh, the meat pattie was well seasoned and there was a nice chutney type sauce which my fussy son even proclaimed delicious. The fries were a generous serving and they asked if we wanted ketchup. Drinks include soft drinks, Minute Maid fruit juices and water. WHY YOU SHOULD GO THERE: i 've traveled through the world and had many burgers from the huge multinational global chains to tiny hole in the wall snack outlets. What Fattorino gets right is personable staff, tasty food from a small but well executed menu (pasta, burgers etc) for fair prices in a town that can be overpriced. Tip: They accept cash only as they don 't have a card machine but there is an ATM/distributeur de billets across the road. Highly recommended."

"Burger One is a family run Kosher burger joint with a few other things on the menu, like shawarma for example. I had their deluxe sized burger in one sitting, and the chicken shawarma at another, The burger is no more special or worse than the other burgers on offer in Jean-les-Pins, they are large and come with all of the trimmings on a suitably stiff, but fresh bun. The shawarma on a plate gives you a generous portion of well-seasoned chicken pieces (tiny pieces), with a good humus and tahini. They has some harissa to try add some spice to the shawarma, but sadly, for my palate, I really wanted a fiery chilli oil to add some excitement to the dish. Burger One is a friendly spot, with a good menu, but there is nothing overly exciting about what they deliver, but it is definitely not a bad choice when looking for some fast food around Jea-les-Pins"

"Imagine our surprise when we arrived at our favourite Provencal beach restaurant. . . to find that, following the retirement of the owner in 2012, it has now been sold to Les Pirates next door! Quelle Horreur! The staff at La Pinede were simply The Best....... the staff at Les Pirates are simply The Worst.The ambience has deteriorated and although the beach is still there. . .and the sunshine is still there. . .the 'new' Pirates is not a shadow of its former neighbour! And, sadly our gorgeous waitress couldn't speak English so she went for help. I ordered a black Onglet steak with salad and fries. . .and received just the Onglet itself looking very forlorn on the plate on its own and clearly missing its friends!However, it was soon rectified and, whilst not as good as La Pinede, I guess the food is OK in general. . and the Owner is a great guy! But, how we miss La Pinede. . . although now just some wonderful memories!"

"The views decor promise fine dining, the chef sadly fails to deliver. We would have forgiven the 20 minute wait for a menu had the quality of the food made up for the service but the fresh cod main honestly tasted dry and boiled, served in a brown tasteless broth. The dry bread rolls were a disgrace. It's lazy and cynical exploitation for any restaurant to rely on its fabulous views to carry it through. The owners need to sit down and taste each dish to appreciate how their standards have slipped."
