"So good! Dumplings, sui Mai, wontons...all of it. The calamari is amazing. Very light fry. Gluten free. And that sauce along with it is delicious. The duck pancakes (rolled tacos? were...interesting. Probably wouldn’t recommend those unless they add more flavor to their homemade taco/pancake dough. It was just rather bland and basic. Great service otherwise! Very friendly and speedy!"

"My fiancée and I booked a table for dinner last night. We had some tapas as an entrée and mains afterwards. The food was really tasty, specially the lobster ravioli. We also got a free bottle of wine with this special invitation they give away! We will definitely come back, so worth it!"

"Four of us dined on a Saturday night when the Gantry serves a five course degustation - $99pp + $75pp with matching wines. Having polished off a few cocktails beforehand at the Pier One Hotel bar next to the restaurant, we opted for a glass or two of wine each from the wine list, and the bill came to $250 per couple rounded up for a small tip. The service was timely and the waiters, very personable with a fine knowledge of the menu and wines. There is a good range of the latter by the glass as well as a comprehensive list of varieties from all corners of the globe. The food was delicious - each course building in texture, richness and complexity, and beautifully presented. We actually ate six courses as we were served a pre dessert, and petit fours were served with the bill as we didn't order coffee.The restaurant itself is not overly loud despite the hard surfaces, and the decor is interesting with moody lighting and comfortable chairs. If you're lucky you might even get to share a couch!"

"A surprisingly pleasant and welcome spot in this precinct which can be difficult at times. It's a very relaxed and open space with a calm decor and comfortable seating and lighting. There's plenty of standard fare on the menu and its quality is reasonable. The service was a bit haphazard but always friendly and relaxed. As others have pointed out the drinks are very fairly priced. but still don't expect too much of a bargain. It's a great find for a meal to go with a show at the nearby theatres, and parking can be surprisingly easy too."

"Lovely spot to have a dinner before the show at the theatre. We shared few tapas plates : Seared Scallops, veal meatballs, Green Bean Baby Potatoes, pitas with dips and olives and all dishes were delicious. Service was quick, friendly and attentive. Definitely will come back"
