"Me and my wife popped into here whilst staying at another location on the lake. Starters and Pizza were great and massive which came with a very low price. As with a lot of places on Austria, people still smoke inside establishments. Lucky there is a small room at the back for non-smokers."

"It seemed like Orther Stub'n had everything going for it: a stunning location at the heart of an old castle, amazing views across the lake and a pleasant menu. That said, we realised we had made a mistake when we were only given the menus...15 minutes after being seated. Unfortunately there was nowhere else open nearby and we were hungry so we stayed nonetheless, hoping this was a blip. However, our order was taken late and our food (we just ordered main courses) came over an hour after we first arrived at the restaurant. The portion size was generous but we both noted that our meat (pork schnitzel and veal cutlet respectively) were tough and we were having to saw away to cut it. After paying and leaving, we decided to check our bill. It turned out that we had been charged for bread that we had noticed other tables receiving but had not received any ourselves. It was too late to go back and question this but this was a real sour ending to what had not been an excellent meal to start with. Will not be returning!"

"The members of the moser family who manages the restaurant and they are very friendly and friendly for the visitors. the menu and the foods are simple but excellent (less is more). on the terrace there is a beautiful view of the Traunsee and its mountain, the traunstein."

"Sharp imperial marrons, without exaggeration - probably the best of my life! the sweethearts were also very good, and the food of the other guests also looked great. large terrace, if you catch a good place you have a great view over the salt chamber good! price absolutely reasonable! highly recommended!"

"The Kulturcafe is a place popular amongst locals in the Gmunden city. It is located at the end of the Esplanade, the famous walking strip of the lake Traunsee, opposite of the Yacht club. A very nice place to sit together and enjoy a cocktail, a glass of wine, or simply a beer. Small food is also served (but it is not a restaurant)."

"Eher durchwachsene Leistung bei unserem Besuch.Waren vor kurzem zu Mittag hier. Habe mich auf den ersten Besuch hier sehr gefreut weil ich schon viel Positives gehört habe.Leider konnten die Vorschusslorbeeren nicht eingefahren werden.Als erstes Mal die Punkte die nicht gefallen haben.Knoblauchsuppe war nicht gut, der große Hunger und Salz und Pfeffer am Tisch waren der Grund für die leere Tasse.Cordon Bleu zwar rießig, aber Käse und Schinken echt nichts besonders und wirkt (wie schon von einem anderen Bewerter bemerkt wurde) wie ein Fertigprodukt!Der serbische Rostbraten eigentlich gut, aber der Käse geschmacklos und für meinen Geschmack würde roter Zwiebel in diesem Gericht wesentlich besser passen.Gemüsetechnisch gibt es hier nur TK, aber naja....Genug gejammert, jetzt zum positiven, Preis Leistung passt durch die doch sehr großen Portionen, gemütlich ist es auch und der Service okay, wenn es auch ab und an zu Kommunikationsschwierigkeiten kommt.Mein Fazit: wer großen Hunger hat und verhältnismäßig günstig und gut essen will, der ist hier gut aufgehoben. Wem Frische und Selbstgemachtes wichtig ist, findet anderswo mehr was er sucht."
