"The views from the deck of La Vierge are breath-taking. You can literally see Hemel en Aarde and the sea in the distance. It's beautiful. Their platters also looked exceptional. (We didn’t order one as we just had breakfast in town. <br/ <br/ Sadly, the wine didn't suit our palettes, which was a bit of a disappointment. But seeing that wine tasting is something entirely subjective, I'm still giving them a 4 star review. Our sommelier was very knowledgeable about the wines and we still had an enjoyable experience. That view really is worth it."

"South African pizza is usually thin crust, and that was a great example that made it good. Toppings were generous, the base tasty with large structure, and there was not too much cheese. We had take, and the service when picking up was really friendly. Even better we were given small pots of fresh garlic, chilli and some salad dressing to add our pizza and salad. Very recommended if you are in the area. We will definitely go back next time we're in Hermanus."

"The restaurant is small, as it capitulates a beauty that has been converted into an art and craftsmanship. the prices on the articles are a bit expensive, but it is quite understandable that most of them are exclusive. the menu could be viewed and updated to cover and satisfy a lot of palettes. the salat I ordered was laboriously filling and in portions, size and fair. the owner (s) could direct their approach and focus on winning a younger generation of passersby, e.g. young children as a method of profit. most children convince parents to move to just check something that kept their curiosity. So, maybe set up a small playground for small ones? or even a jumping burg to rent at weekends to win the young. the children's menu can be extended and the dishes can be presented for them in more fun way. a free toy can also be added. remember that a company can be successful or fail by mouthword. spend some to win a lot"

"What a brilliant experience we had!!! Saturdays are for the Hermanuspietersfontein market, they have large local suppliers of cheese, cold meat, olives, fresh seafood such as pearls and alikruk and many great snacks. The best, Saturdays are free when you make wine tasting. Their wines are all delicious and have fascinating names. Friendly staff and knowledgeable. Had too much wine, but an absolutely big day."
