Rossi's Italian - Hermanus

There's a reason we can't get enough of this place. This was our way in Hermanus for a short lunch time and they never disappointed. The pizzas are amazing with a crispy thin crust and service fast and friendly.

South African pizza is usually thin crust, and that was a great example that made it good. Toppings were generous, the base tasty with large structure, and there was not too much cheese. We had take, and the service when picking up was really friendly. Even better we were given small pots of fresh garlic, chilli and some salad dressing to add our pizza and salad. Very recommended if you are in the area. We will definitely go back next time we're in Hermanus.

Rossi is probably the best value restaurant that you can find anywhere in Hermanus. The food is really excellent, the seafood pasta has generous amounts of seafood (not always the case) and is definitely worth trying! To say that the portion sizes would be generous, about as large as Bill Gates is rich. They're huge! Both my partner and I fought to finish our parts. Pricing wise we were blown away Rossi was incredibly reasonable given the quality and quantity we get! The service was somewhat slow, but it was clear that the kitchen treated a large amount of takeaway orders and they were scattered to cover everything while extremely busy. I can totally understand why they would be! If you are in the mood for Italian in Hermanus, then this should be on your list above! We'll be back.

Rossi is a solid favorite every time we visit Hermanus. The food is always great, the wine good, the service excellent and the fact that it runs from attentive owners makes it so much more personal. It's like coming home. Also great value for money.

We were very pleased while on holiday we could enjoy a Banting Pizza at Rossi's. Even on a Sunday evening, their toppings and ingredients were very very fresh, food and service great!! Rossi's will be a regular pit stop! Great pizzas guys!!!
