"Nice place to chill, eat and have a wine pairing with your tasty meal. The young team of waiters is very nice, multilingual and from various part of the world... (Italy, Madagascar... Normandy . Don't forget to grab few bottles of 2009 or 2010 chateaux Leognan they are fantastic!"

"The boss at the entrance is as welcoming and helpful as a prison door, it's small, narrow, not well lit, not convenient to settle or circulate to the buffet...He's shooting us from the eye because we didn't have reserved. Fortunately, madam raises the level as well as food. The buffet offers enough choice. some dishes are very simple, others more elaborate such as delicious verrines or hard eggs very well decorated. Come the main dish: a feast and the quantity...too copied, we couldn't finish! back to the buffet for dessert, as for entries there are simple dishes and other more elaborate. Wine (not terrible) and coffee are also included in the only menu. In the end we ate very well and for a very suitable price.Also bad that the boss is so unfriendly, and the premises would need a good refreshment and a re-working."

"The restaurant is situated within the Hotel Relais Akena La Brede but is used by all. We had the more expensive of the set menus which was worth every penny and accompanied by a bottle of the local Graves red from the small wine list. Certainley a cut above the standard of restaurants you get next to typical hotel styles in the UK. Beware that the restaurant is closed all day on Sunday."
