"Let me start saying that service was excellent , is not her fault what ever is happening in the kitchen.. First time I went it was delicious, I clean the plate. The elk steak was medium like I ordered and my wife ordered some salmon with pasta that was super good. This was 5 months ago. I went last night and it was something completely different. I ordered elk steak medium and it was not the same I eat before the crab cake was super good. My wife had some salmon and pasta well the salmon was good but the pasta was like romaine noodles. The margaritas ? was really good. The service was super. My conclusion,,, they should have a better chef ?? for the price of the food.. Amazing place just that we are paying to have a great experience and I was a Lil disappointed.."

"Visited Tracey Village Club Saturday night , few things on menu but for a vegetarian not much all . I had chicken Snitzel and mash , Snitz was good size , small and Very tasteless serve of mash , tiny serving of muchroom sauce.... Wife , as a vegi opted for bowl of potato wedges ,from the extremely limited vegi options , when it came out was a very big serving. Also went with the $8 vegi and salad bar , mYbe was already over cooked, frozen vegis vegis mostly Lino , dried out , cauliflower with cheese but no white sauce not sure chef gets the idea of cauliflower was dry as and tasteless . Potatoe salad had ham In it potato bake had bacon in it so much for being a “vegi bar “. All up have to say it’s average priced and places exist in Darwin which are heaps better . Before this visit was there 35 years ago , only difference it’s now got carpet snd a door ."

"This is worth a drive: a very nice mom and pop ! The outside is very bland but food and atmosphere inside are quite fresh. I had the Black and Blue salad. It was loaded with meat (although not what I expected) and greens were very crisp. The service was rapid and attentive. It was not busy for lunch Saturday, save a couple tables of locals and me. Apparently the place can go hopping ' for special events and live entertainment. I would definitely eat there again if I am in the area."

"Found this little jewel in Lyons on a Google search for another service. My partner and I enjoy visiting new breakfast places and since the Egg Beater Cafe is just a little more than two miles from home, we went there on the first opportunity that was at 8:30 on Friday morning. The food is at 47. Street and is easy to find. The place is clean and comfortable, and our server was friendly and efficient. There is the usual type of breakfast menu and the prices are the lowest I have come for a while. The food is however highest quality: I had the American skill with ham bacon and sausage as meat. It was probably the best skill I ever had. The food of my partner was equally impressive. Guests can enjoy lunch. Very recommended, though slightly from the beaten path on the industrial side of 47th Street. You are open 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m."
