"My son and I stayed with Liz and absolutely loved the food she served us! She’s a pioneer of sorts who has built her life among the fisherfolk after giving up a corporate career. Her produce and ingredients are the freshest possible. We enjoyed everything from the pork curry to the fish curry to her desserts. She has a lovely, cosy cafe space as well as an expansive terrace where one can hang out. Have a meal here along with lovely conversation with this well-read and erudite hostess and it will have been a most rewarding trip!"

"I'm just giving these 2 stars because that's the lowest that'll allow me. I ordered the Thali when he arrived, it came with several courts. I tried to make my way through them and then filled something incredible in one of them. I had assumed it was isolated and perhaps the waiter made a mistake when I asked to make it vegan. So I asked the waiter what it was and he said it was chicken, then directed to something else and said it was fish!!! I was horrified! I confirmed with them that this was a vegetarian restaurant and they confirmed it was. Despite my repeated request, they were unable to explain how meat on my plate ended in a vegetarian restorer. They replaced my dish with a vegan and didn't charge me for anything. I believe, however, that is an unpredictable mistake. Luckly I asked and did not eat the meat, but I could easily have suspected that the chicken was tofu and ate it."
