"Loved the ambience..... loved the service and most importantly loved loved prawn coconut curry..... the people running the restaurants are so soft spoken and courteous. price is on the higher side but taste is equally gr8. Would suggest this place to everyone visiting mahabalipuram."

"Small n hidden out place besidws the big giant neighbours.<br/>We went looking out food, mainly vegetarian late afternoon and found this place after being dejected by the menu limitations we got from La Pizzeria's famous neighbours.<br/>The place is pretty basic....not showiness.<br/>Menu is mainly Italian.<br/>Not so crowded.<br/>We ordered for pasta in red sauce whuch i must say was yummy.<br/>The pasta in pesto sauce was good too.<br/>We also ordered Pizza Margarita and a Caramelised Banana for dessert which too were decent.<br/>It was much more better foodwise than we expected. <br/>The food is worth the money though it looked understaffed but they were able to manage the customers that were there that time.<br/>Overall i loved it n would like to say its worth a try."

"This Restaurant is situated a bit before Mahabalipuram as you drive from Chennai. I have visited the Original Rahmath Border Parotta and that was an absolutely amazing experience. But this namesake restaurant did not live up to even the most basic expectations. The mutton biryani...was quite nice but there was only one small piece of mutton in it which made us wonder whether Khuska (plain biryani) had been brought by mistake. The veechu parotta cost 90 Rs and we had to use two hands to pull it apart, it was so rubbery. The plain parotta was just normal, nothing special about it. The naattu kozhi chicken gravy consisted of a little gravy and one big piece of chicken which was so hard that it was impossible to tear it with our hands. The mutton gravy was quite nice. The service was pathetic and though we made several requests for some glasses to pour our Pepsi, it was not fulfilled. Overall I will say it was quite a disappointing expereince, I will suggest that you can give this restaurant one try if you happen to visit Mahabalipuram."

"Swamy and jeanette run this very friendly, sunny and beautifully decorated caffe located at othavadai street in mahabs. the menu is full of cake, coffee, Indian and continental specialties and the place itself is impossible to miss, as it smells wonderfully like fresh cakes and coffee. they even have real, real brot! I love the cute wooden chew in the front and the bright yellow walls! wonderful; I'm back!"

"We were welcomed with a warm smile into a colourful and tranquil setting. The owner happily showed us around his herbal and vegetable roof garden with a great sense of pride and care. He was full of information! The food was always presented beautifully and with such care and tasted amazing! He really couldn't do enough for us and went out of his way to please us. My only criticism was how long it all took to prepare but was worth the wait. Went back to eat there several times knowing that the food was well prepared with filtered water and organic ingredients. Prices are very reasonable. This place I would definitely recommend."
