"The place was a bit difficult to locate, but I'm so glad we did. The food was delicious May it was the pawns, the red sauce pasta or the Chana with parota. Excellent aromas. The desserts were amazing to the Nutella... cakes, the filter coffee cheesecake and even the Tender Coconut Payasam. Too bad we missed the Banoffe Pie. Last but not least, Liz was a fantastic host and made us feel at home. Thank you for a wonderful experience."

"Great views. Fish smelt bad. Toilets horrendous. We decided that eating here was a big risk so just had a drink. Waiters over friendly and claimed to have no change when we paid. We stuck it out and insisted they find some. Avoid it"

"In this restaurant we have lunch with a team of 10 people. they gave up the menu and then realized they had nothing. they can imagine that a sea restaurant has no seafood, ask them fish curry no, garne no. ask them no. why I would come to eat hawn and mutton. I think they should close the load and go."

"We are here two nights running after trying some other Mahab restaurants. It was excellent ! Really good and tasty Indian food cooked fresh and with tremendous flavours. It is a small place run by a really nice man and the prices are incredibly reasonable. The freshly made breads are also fantastic. Only three or four tables but grab one of them. You will not regret it! Thoroughly recommended."

"I had a delicious dinner at Sunrise Restaurant. After talking to Selva, the chef, I ordered a whole fish cooked with tava (Indian sources) and butter rice. The fish was perfectly cooked and the seasoning was spot on, the rice tender and delicious. Great spot to have dinner outside (5 minutes walk) of the main street of Mamallapuram!"
