"Some words of explanation: There is another Tulum in Guanajuato at Positos This restaurant recently moved from another location on Positos to the current one, by the place where a lot of buses stop near the Alhondiga. The previous location is now occupied by..."Positos which is both the name of the place and the address. I dined at the previous location several times. Had pasta dishes. They were OK if you like light pasta meals. The new location still has pasta on the menu, but the thing that inspired me to write this review was the barbecue barbecoa tacos. If you're an afficionado of barbecue, this is the real thing"

"We are full time ex-pats in Mexico with a home in Guanajuato so we know the restaurant scene here reasonably well. If you might enjoy a total change from standard Mexican fare, this spot is for you. A bistro atmosphere and eclectic food offerings are the enticements. The owner is a long time restaurant owner here and he knows well how to deliver a quality product with superb, welcoming service. The variety of grilled meat entrées, each generous, is outstanding. Friendly bar with excellent selection of beers, wines and cocktails. Empañadas are exceptional starters. The location is in Marfil, away from Centro. There is off-street parking, bus service, or grab a 50p taxi."

"Many of the details have already been published, but it does not hurt to strengthen the idea. everything here is very, very authentic. we believe that the corundums here are better than those we have eaten in michoacan, the home of the purepecha indigenas community. also make them huchepos. they are fools that consist entirely of tender, sweet mais. we often serve them as dessert. it is so worth going out and tasting this delicious food."
