"First off let me say The waitress we had was nice and sweet and was the best thing about this place. I don't remember her name but she was working the bar. She's pretty and had tattoos on her arms. Ok I ordered the Green chili Burger it came with a fried egg, avocado spread, some unidentifiable green chili and roasted jalapeño aioli. I ordered it medium well with NO ONIONS and with side of fries. Not that hard right. WRONG!!!!! Strike one was the meat patty was burnt. Outside crust was hard as hell. The meat must have done something horrible in its past life because it was Damned! Strike Two I asked for NO ONIONS! I HATE RAW ONIONS! And wouldn't you know it, they put raw onions. A lot. Strike Three Is because I asked for my side to be fries. And guess what. They brought me ONION RINGS! Do I look like Shrek to get all those damn onions. The toppings on the burger were nothing to talk about. At least the egg was cooked properly and that's it. The rest had zero flavor. I mean none. I don't know how they could mess this up because more than half of the restaurant was empty at 1:30pm on a Friday. Safe to say I will not be returning. The menu said The green chili burger was a Texas monthly top 50. That is the biggest LIE since the Democratic Party! My favorite go to meals are cheeseburgers. Believe me I've eating my share of burgers to know what a good burger is. This wasn't it. This was the first burger in my adult life I didn't finish. I've had some crappy burgers before but this one deserves a parade. The waitress said I shouldn't have eatin more than a bit so she could have fixed it. I don't send food back to be replaced. First impressions don't get a redo. I told her just leave it on my check. That's why I'm written this. This is my experience here. Who's knows if you're reading this then maybe they'll make your food better. For the price it was a rip off."

"Came to this restaurant few days ago to try it out. It was alright, not the bold favor I'm use to, parts of my food were a lil cold especially my shrimp. Seemed to be a lil watered down in our opinion"

"We've heard good things about this place since we came to Midland, and I'm pretty impressed by the Garlic Press. All employees were very nice and attentive, we never missed a beat during dinner rush on a Saturday and our waiter. Everything came out for a good time. All we ordered was very fresh, well seasoned and built. Scallops were perfectly cooked and delicious. Risotto was from this world. The banana pudding cheesecake was one of the best cheese cakes I've ever had. The only things we didn't like were just favorite things, but everything to the flavored oil and bread tasted great. They even had really good water and yes, it's expensive... But I'd say it's worth a special occasion. Look forward to coming back and try more about the menu. Edit: Your brunch is also fantastic!"

"Excellent Italian cuisine and thin crust pizza! Good service in a warm hole in the wall atmosphere. If you want pizza and pasta, they have covered you with the pizza snack, all with some great prices! Make sure you have a reservation, as waiting is long otherwise."

"I'll be honest I have super mixed feelings about what I attempted to enjoy for lunch. I had both flavors of ribs, a slice of brisket, a regular sausage link, chopped brisket as well as some potato salad and a piece of corn The ribs were not bad at all. Now let's roll over to the brisket I don't know who smoked it but they obviously didn't observe what color smoke was going on while it was being smoked so it was was just an all around bad taste for the sliced and chipped brisket. The sausage link was also undesirable and just not a pleasant taste or texture. The picture I took the food looks amazing but the taste just wasn't good. Love the atmosphere"

"The atmosphere was excellent! The service with both the waiter AND the bus boy was outstanding! The best I 've encountered in a while! When they brought out the chips and hot sauce, I asked the bus boy with the kinda long curly hair for the green hot sauce and he DELIVERED! If you like authentic hot sauce and spicy with superb taste, try the green sauce! Excellent! I personally ate The New York Tacos which I consider 'street tacos ' with onions and cilantro, tasty I might add! We 'll DEFINITELY be returning! Thanks to my brother in-law for recommending this place, Thanks Kurt..."
