"This is my favorite place of my fiancé to go in plymouth! can't recommend the miners arms enough! we usually go on a weekday (before 7) and enjoy the 3-course menu with a pint of rattler. Eating is always super fast, and is always cooked to perfection. many compliments to the cook, and waiters/waiters are always very friendly and attentive. please don't let this little hidden gem distract you from bad reviews! eating is really delicious."

"Just had a lovely meal at the Lord Louis. Staff were very engaging and friendly. They told us of a short delay awaiting fresh vegetables. Chef lady gave us a few extras until food was ready. Our waitress Karen was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her. She kept popping over to check we were OK."

"The first time I went to this place was when my favorite places were closed during the hour. I needed my dinner and thought to order a simple cod and chips from this place would be easy. Unfortunately, my shoes would stay on the floor, I am sure the owners have placed glue on the floor to steal my shoes. when I came to eat and ordered my dinner, I got a half-cooked or fried cable and a few lame prepared chips. it was the largest and most disappointing dinner I had ever spent and had. if I walk past this place, I can't help, but in unbelievably sign that it's still in business. Perhaps it has made some human improvements. Date: 15/12/2016; I visited this place pointing out the shortest and asked them for 4 pieces chicken and chips. I was surprised that they were actually decent to consume. the chicken was crispy, the meat was tender, the chips were neither overcooked nor undercooked. I think I could visit this place more often if they maintain this good quality."
