"Top nosh pizzas. Would be 5* if the doner kebab was all lamb mince not lamb and beef but that's personal preference. Chilli sauce could also be better."

"Poorly lit but the staff were friendly. I come here occasionally hoping that someone will get a good grip of the kitchen but my steak pie was very short on steak and the pastry topping was not great. On my last visit a couple of years ago, I felt short changed with the chicken tikka that was short on meat. I expect I will try again in a couple of years or so just because it's my local"

"Simple, but such an effective idea. great mood. they use it as a main or simple as a desert place as we did. cheese, meat, bread and wine alcohol. unreal! choose the size of their plate, 6, 10 or more combinations of cheese and meat or go for a meal platter with cake and other tasty options. they offer 'flights' that allow them to three types of wein (the same type), whiskys, ports etc. to go with the food. huge selection of cheese, smoked and camembert as personal favorite, but so many to choose. friendly staff to help them get the food and drink their mouthwater for when they're in there."

"My absolute favorite restaurant. such friendly helpful cheerful staff, fabulous menu, I can never understand what to have. beautifully presented and delicious food. we sat outside on this hot and sunny day under the huge brandy. highly recommended for eating, ambiente and large service. I'm looking forward to my next visit."

"So me husband and daughter arrived in poole and walked dowm highstreet looking for somewhere to get out the bad weather. Upon arriving every customer stared at us and whispered, other than the bar staff who didnt look up from the task she was doing....It took mins to get served, due to the young girl behind the bar talking to seated customers despite not aknowledging me and my group. From there we were then told that they will not be serving food, despite being a family friendly pub. The atmosphere was cold, and unwelcoming and the drinks and service were mediocre at best. As we were leaving, we saw a gent outside who i presumed to be staff, shouting at a woman and throwing his hands around very agressively. This is around the time me and my husband decided to leave. Big shock. Me and my sister visited before lockdown and although not perfect it was at least welcoming and friendly. Staff need a major training session in customer relations and the whole building needs a good scrub. star."
