"What a find! Great service, great atmosphere, great food. Steak was cooked to perfection and my daughter (6yrs) and sons' (4) ribs were really lovely and goooey perfect for wobbly teeth! Good portion sizes and a small but well formed wine list. Highly recommend if you like good food and a light hearted mood. Well done and keep up the good work steak a saurus!!"

"We were in Swanage for the last ever jazz festival and booked for the Friday night. The Cauldron is quirky but very welcoming. Margaret and Terry spend about three days sourcing their raw ingredients and although on the expensive side, their careful preparation really shows. We had the whole Dover sole with hand cut chips. It's the best fish I've ever eaten! Terry brought one out on a plate to show us before he cooked it and it was divine. You get the table for the evening so if you have the time (we didn't), you could spend a whole evening dining on freshly prepared, as ordered, superb food. When we visit again, we shall ensure that we book a table. Well done to both of the owners. This isn't fast food, and neither should it be. A unique dining experience!"

"Beautiful small pub with a large garden area and play area. would definitely recommend for families. service was amazing, our waitress was brilliant and nothing was too much annoyed. the food tasted very good. only the lighting wasn't great, but this is just a nod really."

"The Kings Arms is everything that a good pub should be. Cosy and friendly with attentive staff. The landlord knows his ales and had handpumps each serving quality beer. I tried all were on excellent form, with Ringwood Fortyniner narrowly winning my Beer of the Evening award.We had lovely meals, then their pièce de résistance', mum's homemade Dorset Applecake; a dessert to die for! Book early and go: you won't be disappointed!"
