"Very lovely dinner. Beautiful space. Good portion size. Filet Mignon was good, but lobster was amazing (cooked perfectly). Gorgonzola salad also very good, and Mara’s Cheesecake is one of the best I had. Some small issues here and there but did not detract from an excellent experience on Valentine’s Day."

"This is my wife 's recent review from our visit April 29th, I did one previously. We found this place years ago, when we we drove up, it didn 't look like much. But if there is ever a time to use the phrase diamond in the rough, this is it. The menu has a lot of options, most of which I have tried and loved. My husband can attest to this as well. My favorite is the tuna, which is pictured. I have also had varying steak entrees, chicken, pastas, and their fried calamari as well as fried artichokes the sauces that go along with them are also perfect flavors. Everything is delicious! Their desserts are homemade and vary by the week, but when the peanut butter pie is on the menu, I get that for sure! The staff is extremely accomodating, attentive and appreciative of your visit. The inside is a good size and even have a piano player certain times during the weekend. We usually get a small table for 2, but even with bigger parties, the staff seems to be able to place the parties in exactly the right spot so you dont hear other tables ' conversations. This is worth a trip even from surrounding towns. We aren 't too far as we come from East Brunswick, but we would gladly make a further trip if needed."

"I have no idea why there are bad reviews on the place. Maybe people must just like junk food. This is by far the best, freshest Chinese food I have ever had. I NEVER leave reviews but if you want clean, quality Chinese take out do not pass this place up!! Excellent!"

"Had a lot of good polish food. Only thing I don't like is they don't make enough deserts so they sell out of them very early. They should make enough of them because they are loosing money. My favorite desert/bread is Blueberry bread. So good! If you haven't had it buy it next time you go if they have it. But usually I need to get to the store at least an hour after they opened to get them. Staff is nice. Wish the store was bigger with more polish stuff because you can never have enough. But it's better than no polish store."

"I wouldn't say it's great but I also wouldn't say it's bad. I've gotten food from Gems on several occasions. The bagels are alright but I prefer bagels that are a bit crunchier on the outside. The cream cheeses are pretty good. The breakfast sandwiches are good but I wouldn't say it's anything amazing. The prices are also a bit high for what you get when it comes to the sandwiches. Today we got the crumb cake but it was rawThe meat-Atarian is actually pretty good and I'd get that again. I'd skip the coffeeOne thing I don't like is there aren't any prices on the signs except for the fact that you can make things a combo for an extra $4Service is on the slow side but then again, sandwiches are made fresh and everytime we've gone, there's always a handful of people in there"
