"Three of us went to lunch on a slow Saturday. We ordered an appetizer, a salad, a pasta dish and a meat dish and dessert and a cappuccino and a tea (and two alcoholic drinks). Our appetizer came out and then the two entrees arrived. The salad never arrived. When we mentioned it to the waiter, he asked if we wanted it to go........obviously not it was suppose to be part of the lunch and suppose to have come before the entrees. It was disappointing and what he said was interesting the kitchen made a mistake . No hint of an apology or taking ownership of the error. We may have ordered badly, as the chicken scaloppini was over a bed of spinach with SOOO much garlic. The spinach was like a mash of garlic, oil and some overly soggy spinach. It was nasty. The pasta was fine nothing special at all. The waiter, I think his name was Moe, did not describe any of the dishes, did not check back to ask if everything was ok. the best thing he did was when we ordered cheesecake for dessert, he asked if we wanted half or whole. That was great as we did not know that was an option. All in all, disappointing experience. I had high expectations and they were not met not great food, not great service and I even had to ask for a clean water glass as mine was dirty upon arrival. Live and learn."

"The service was very neglectful and slow. We waited for about fifteen minutes before a water glass was brought for one guest and about the same time for water refill. No one acknowledged us unless we flagged them. The waitstaff do not scan the room when walking through it. Food was mediocre, about the quality usually for catering to college students but the price point a bit above that. Overall, one gets the feeling that this is a place for kids who don 't expect too much in way of food or service."

"This is our go to place when on the Upper East side. The food and service are top notch and never disappoint. We always have the oysters which are fresh and served nicely. We tried the shrimp sushi and it was very good. We always have the filet mignon and was served as we asked: medium rare. The crime brûlée was delightful. Another really lovely dinner!"

"Hard to fond a place like this anywhere in NW Wis. Mostly what you find is basic bar food. Not so here. Casual but great food for a dining experience. White linen table cloths and napkins. Okay wine list. Good service staff. A che who cares what puts on the table. Reasonable prices. Worth experiencing."
