"Everything was great but they pack people like sardines in that place, a table big enough for 2 is used to squeeze 3-4 people. Glad the food was good but it was very uncomfortably tight in there."

"I’ve been wanting to try Batali’s pizza for a long time and after a few attempts to get reservations, we finally got in at a decent time. You’ll definitely want to make reservations to eat here, that is, unless you don’t mind eating really early or really late (they’re open til midnight . It’s a pretty small restaurant and the bar is open seating, but it looks like it can only sit about 1/2 a dozen people. The ambience is sort of an upscale casual. At the end of the day it’s still just a pizzera…just a bit nicer : The neat thing about the pizza is that it’s extremely thin but with a puffy crust. It’s an interesting combination. You can really tell that each pizza’s flavor was thoughtfully concocted. I also recommend ordering a number of the appetizers – the mozza caprese was awesome and all the others we saw looked tasty. I definitely want to come back and try the other pizzas. I’ll probably stick to more of the veggie-ish pizzas – I think they have a more delicate balance of flavor than the meat-centric ones."

"I stopped in Here on my way home from a job. It's not a fancy place but it is a nice cozy place. I was met by the waiter as soon as the wife and I walked in. The price are reasonable. The staff we're great. The food was off the chart. We ordered pizza it was thin crust and very good. We also had a pitcher of beer too. Great food. Great service good price. Will be back again. Just wanted to give an updated review. I stopped in today on 10/21/18. I only have one complaint about this place. They're too damn far from me. So much so I only make it out this way a couple times a year. The wife and I had a pitcher of beer and two pizzas. A mushroom and a margarita thin crust pizza. They are the best pizzas I've ever had. This is a family owned business. Two brothers own and operate it. I recently discovered that they were in Hells Kitchen with Gordon Ramsey. It was a few years back. So I don't know if the food has always been so good or if it's a result of Gordan Ramsey. But whatever the case may be the food is delicious. If you live in or near Eagle Rock you definitely have to stop in and try this place out. I promise you will not regret it."
