"I had breakfast here with my family and I wouldn't bother going back. Although the position looking out at the water watching the ferry was lovely, the rest was rather wanting. We sat on the outside deck and the seating was ridiculous. Peculiar tables with swing out seats that were tiny and very uncomfortable for an older person. When we looked at the menu we were amused by a statement saying "changes to the menu will be politely refused" Good heavens, not a great start given so many tourists would dine here. We ordered our breakfast but were very annoyed that no hollandaise sauce was available. The service was slow and the waitress very indifferent to our needs. I wont be returning."

"Sensational steak, sides and breads (to start). I had the frame rub, it was so crunchy and yet a succulent steak that just fell apart. We got a tip from a local to go here and honestly we had to hold back going back the second night we were in Hobart. An amazing experience and well priced considering the quality. Can’t wait to go back!"

"Ciuccio tries for dinner tonight and it was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Welcomes with a smile and a large service. We ate from the Specials - Chili Muscles with Fettuccine in a Napoli sauce and grilled fish on a bed of ink piston risotto. Both dishes were simple and delicious. We had to order a bread to wipe the delicious sauce. After finishing, we were offered a free Amaretto night cap, which was a nice gesture and sent us with our choice in the house in the house. Atmosphere was warm and music was romantic and is perfect for the restaurant. Would definitely return."

"Another restaurant to add to the list of places to eat. The service is friendly and not intrusive. The flavour pallet was broad and adventurous without being scary for cautious eaters. However, the menu choice is limited to approximately four dishes on any course and do change weekly, but everything was delicious. The wine list is the only down side in that it is limited and on the pricey side for what there is, but the wines available are well matched to the food on offer so this criticism may be more personal preference."
