"Great food and excellent personal service. The menu worked well for our mix of diets (gluten free, vegetarian). We liked the mix of traditional Sicilian dishes and international ones, definitely something for everyone. A very enjoyable experience."

"We were staying at the Grand Hotel Ortigia which is really less than blocks from this restaurant but since it's up a little alley street, it can be hard to find. Well worth the look The food and service are phenomenal. We could not...decide on what to eat so they gave us an Ipad with pictures of the food. Great idea. Very helpful service and suggestions. Started with Stuffed artichoke and fish soup. One of us had risotto but the winner was the citrus pasta. It was amazing. Never tasted anything like it before. We highly recommend this place if you are in Ortigia."

"We had a pleasant evening at this family run osteria. The sisters who took care of us were charming. We sat at a tight outdoor table to take in the atmosphere of via Cavour. We were started off with excellent bread, caper berries, fava beans and hard boiled eggs. The carafes of Nero d’Avola were solid and a great value. We shared a bunch of dishes in order to try as many things as possible. Sicilians have a way with eggplant and their eggplant parmesan was deeply flavored without being heavy. The caprese salad and caponata were excellent. The fried mushrooms weren’t quite up the the level of the other appetizers. The pasta a la Norma was excellent. The spaghettini Siciliana was interesting and good. The spaghetti with garlic, oil and chili was OK. This was a nice way to immerse ourselves in the local vibe."

"Unfortunately, the restaurant has no seats outside. Some are in the passage to the courtyard. It is very cozy and the menu very clear. Authentic food."
