"I gave this place 5 stars just because my friend said that the calzone was the most beautiful calzone he had in his life. my eating was amazing, and the family it owned/run could not do enough for us. the wine was cheap, and the menu had something for everyone. there is a view of a lake and snow-covered mountain painted on a whole wall, but I have never made a picture of it. the whole facility was so sweet and I will be definitiw back."

"Our starters were clearly forgotten as tables around us were served before us when they’d ordered after us and it took the waitress asking if we’d had our food yet to go and find out and then tell us it was still going to be 10 minutes. Then when our starters were cleared we had another long wait for our mains with people who’s starters were cleared after ours getting their mains before us. Starters were lovely once they’d arrived, mains were average, pizza was extremely doughy. Desserts were a disaster, the panna cotta should’ve been described as a jelly and the lemon tart was an awful pastry case and gelatinous topping. The pre dinner “cocktail” was gin lemonade and cranberry juice which I’ve never seen on a cocktail menu, if you don’t do cocktails don’t offer them as part of your deals. Then breakfast was set up around us, I asked for the bill and it was given to my husband who’s birthday we were there for. Drink service is very slow as the bar is at the other end of the hotel and very limited options available. No cider available even though in menu. Overall a disappointing meal."

"Popped in on our way through Tisbury and what a friendly welcome we had from Emma behind the bar and the owner (retired) sitting in the garden. Delicious grub, well kept beers, cider on tap what more could you ask for? Looking forward to moving to Tisbury later this year. Thank you."
