"Overall, the food was average. The burgers were large, however, you pay a premium for French fries. I would rather they just inflate the price and make French fries standard. The included item is potato chips. My mom and daughter had the burgers and said they were pretty good. I had the stuffed shrimp, which didn't have a lot of flavor. I could tell I was eating shrimp and crab, but there wasn't much flavor. The portion was four stuffed shrimp. However, the shrimp were of the medium variety that I would buy at my local market. They were ripped with a tablespoon size crab ball. I had to pay a premium for cheese on my potato. This dish was $29, which I was prepared to pay, but was disappointed when it came out. Or meal was $95 (including a 15% tip). I'd also like to add we all had water to drink. I think the bill was a tad too much when two people in my party had a burger. The best part was dining outside right at the water. I drove from central Virginia to dine there, and am not sure if do it again. Just so so."

"Having out-of-town guests got us looking for a good breakfast spot, and we decided to try out Mars.Its not overly American (which I'm grateful for), having a very standard menu of breakfasts, omelettes, pancakes, sandwiches, burgers, as well as milkshakes.We all ordered the large breakfast platter (a take on an English breakfast). Wait was a little longer than I generally expect, but the plates came hot and perfectly cooked. Prices were a bit on the high side for what it was, but not outrageous.The atmosphere is fun and retro, and the staff are okay. Will likely return."

"Standard Diner tariff with large service. The food is fresh and quite expensive. The herbal Fiesta Omelette and Omelette with Chili are decent. Hash and potato saucers are great! French toast with cream cheese filling and strawberries is excellent for a fair price. Overall: no complaints!"

"I'm a regular customer, which means that not a week passes by that I don't enjoy a meal at the place. I've been a customer for years and have no bad service or bad eating yet. the atmosphere is lovely and the staff is friendly. I am am amazed by some of the bad critiks, as I always see that the employees go out of the way to see that everyone cares. the manager and the owners themselves provide table service, if necessary and always observe that everyone is well supervised. it is one of the best restaurants in the environment and has won several awards of the citizens who say the same."
