"Metro Diner is a family favorite. My husband and I came here for lunch and it was absolutely perfect, as usual. We ordered the carafe of red sangria. My husband had the pot roast, and I went with my favorite, the iron city meatloaf. We also were being gluttonous so we shared a half order of the fried chicken (which is always a hit). The waiter, I believe his name is Jordan, is always great. We?ve had him several times and he?s always on point . He gives great recommendations, he?s attentive but not too overbearing, and he?s friendly. As usual, our food came out pretty quickly, and it was delicious. The pot roast melts in your mouth. The only thing is that they should pair it with white rice rather than mashed potatoes. Nonetheless, it was so good that I kept picking off of my husband?s plate."

"Reubens were ok, but would be much better if it were stacked inside instead of rolled. Monterey chicken was good. Avocado and cheese are nice with chicken. Build your burger-grilled chicken was good, but needed more bbq sauce. Omelet was a good option for the child at the table. Service was ok, but server was definitely not too pleasant. Mondays are good because you receive free piece of pie with an entree."

"There are some real issues here Seems management is aware but unable or unwilling to fix Drinks 15 minutes water 15 minutes order 35 minutes no service or rolls or anything as you wait for salads Then salads and steaks served at same time Alerted manager and was told this is an ongoing issue “sorry but we are working on it” No service for wine or drinks after another delay and apologies all around so we skipped Waited for service afterwards and ordered dessert but sadly this was a bad visit and other than apologies we didn't see wait staff unless asked for them Village's other restaurants have superior service No one seemed to care at WP they went in the back and disappeared and the were not busy Seems like changes are being made so I would wait before visiting Hopefully they bring in help for training and experienced crew that values customers"

"The brot was really soft and delicious, but that was all good. the butter that comes with the brot had too much cinnamon. the French thorny soup was extremely salty and full of burned tweepers. salad was okay. they roast it in a large aluminum dish that was the half of the size of our table. the steaks were terrible. very dry and tasteless. the medium rarely had no pink in it. they really don't know how to cook steaks. when we asked the waitress, she answered with a posture that is because we do not put salt, so we do not give them the sose even salt? we liked the soss not the beer was design stella and did not taste like stela. not sure what they mixed it with. the water tasted bad. we told you everything stopped on the brot. the place was half empty. but everything took a long time. we will. there are many other possibilities in the opposite."

"Everything was superb!!! Can 't wait to return next time! Had the Fish 'N Chips and it was PERFECTLY SALTED SEASONED...and I am not a Salt User individual, never have been! "Omg my sister ran on this little jewel and the cakes are so good! Freshly made and the slices are HUGE. The cakes are moist. So far I've tried the coconut, the vanilla and the carrot. The carrot was my favorite time, but it was still good. Cakes are not too sweet; Icing can be a bit sweet, so I'll see if they make whipped cream the next time I go. I want to try the restaurant."

"We went there to have a lunch with all American Legion Post 347 Lady Lake kitchen helpers. The staff was very friendly and did a great job with about 40 of us. Job well done. Especially thanks to Harriet and Joyce who run the kitchen staff. You're doing a great job!"
