"We took kind of normal food: cordon blu, bier and dessert: 2.5 hours! It was a Monday with very few people in the restaurant and we were just 2, so we really didn't understand the reason of all this slowness"

"We visited Macelino Pane e Vino coincidentally, but did not regret a second and cannot wait to come back. The restaurant is super cosy. Food was perfect. Close to the best pulpo we have ever had. Service so good, super attentative and friendly. Will be back very soon !"

"You notice that the kitchen and the service harmonize, our visit was as a whole a particularly beautiful experience. the courts are incredibly kreatiw and meet the time spirit. you can compile your menu yourself, so is not bound to dishes and counts courses. from fish to meat, vegetarian or even vegan is something on the map for everyone. Although I am absolutely not vegan, one of them has tasted me very much. from apéro to the night after eating (it was two:) everything was very great. I recommend the mesa with very good sense: upscale kitchen, but in a wonderfully relaxed local."

"This is an owner run restaurant and it shows lots of care goes into the personal service and excellent food which is being served. They offer great value lunch menus. There is nothing fancy about this restaurant but what counts good service...and good food at a reasonable price is there. We can highly recommend this restaurant."

"Tonight were three in the taverna catalana, we were served super fast and the recommended kellners gino was just the right one for our taste. my companions had taken the derecote with mushrooms, bratkartoffeln and spinat and I supplemented the seafood with the same. the food was sensational and the atmosphere was easy to enjoy.The absolute highlight of the evening was the homemade crema catalana to dessert! Around an excellent evening, I can only recommend it!A thanks to miguel and his team!"

"Went after work with a colleague. Last night my steak ordered medium arrived blue somewhere else; tonight ordered a Chateaubriand which should be a great fillet, cooked medium. It arrived well done. It seems I can't catch a break with steak chefs in Zurich this week. Tasted good anyway but would have preferred more pink. Nice place inside, modern industrial decor. Great service. Enjoyed a great bottle of wine from Dieter Meier, a Malo which I can recommend at CHF 99. Dinner for two was CHF 300 so not cheap. Would go back."

"Wir hatten das Wehrlischloss extra ausgewählt, wegen des Fondue-Menues in der Speisekarte. Als wir für die Reservierung anriefen, war niemand erreichbar. Um 8 Uhr abends kamen wir dann beim Restaurant an, woraufhin wir schroff auf die gekürzten Öffnungszeiten hingewiesen wurden. Nicht wie auf der Internetseite vermerkt, war die Küche bereits geschlossen. Die Wirtin meinte außerdem recht unfreundlich, dass zu dieser Jahreszeit so oder so kein Käsefondue serviert würde. Unser Hinweis, dass die Infos auf der Webseite anders lauteten, wurden einfach abgetan und ignoriert.Kurz gesagt, das Restaurant ist nicht empfehlenswert."
