"Breakfast buffet was extremely expensive for what I consider to be a best, an average selection of food. Scrambled eggs, two types of over cooker sausages, bacon, hashbrowns, grilled tomatoes, beans and mushrooms. There looked like you could get a egg or two freshly prepared, but there was no sign of a cook. The coffee was okay, but not exceptional. We paid $33.00 per head for a hot breakfast. But a continental breakfast will set you back only $22.00 odd dollars! We paid less for dinner at a competitor later that same day. Definately won't be returning."

"We visited here recently and wow it was absolutely perfect, a truly unforgettable night. The restaurants team looked after us amazingly, my parents even said it’s the best service they have ever received. And that says a lot, considering they have travelled to many fine dining restaurants all across the world. We could not be more impressed and honestly could not fault a single thing. Just pure perfection, no comparison. Ever dish was absolutely delicious and decadent, full of flavour yet still satisfying. Our absolute favourites were the ribs and the crème brûlée, must tries! Furthermore, the staff members were extremely welcoming and warm. Some of the most friendly waiters we’ve ever had, hands down. Just imagine your coats being taken for you, a small table for your hand bags, alterations to menu items to meet dietary requirements, complimentary champagne, complementary entrees… just wow. Unlike anything we’ve experienced. Not to mention the stunning view of the city skyline! Definitely one of our favourite restaurants in Melbourne. A must visit for sure."

"It’s much nicer seeing the icecream prepared in front of you in a mixer rather than just watching it get scooped out. I always love Nitro Lab!"

"I previously reviewed East Imperial and gave it a rave review but sadly it appears to have changed hands and has gone downhill in so many ways. The service is almost non-existent and what little remains lacks all of the class and finesse we loved. Gone are the manners and elegance - now its boisterous, vulgar and soft drink cans with a straw. Gone too are the linen napkins - the paper serviettes are a clear indication of where the new owners are pitching themselves. This was our "go-to" almost every Sunday for Yum Cha but everything that made it unique and special is gone. We won't be back."

"Oh wow. WOW. Five stars for their keropok lekor (fried fish dumpling crackers)!! Fish balls and roe were also worth a try fresh, springy and the roe inside gives out a warm, flavorful burst.<br/ <br/ Will. Come. Back."

"My go to destination for coffee if I'm ever near Brunswick. Their coffee is really good if you have a great love towards good coffee beans. I always get iced long black as I enjoy the taste of the coffee beans and for some summer is very refreshing. The have decent amount of cakes and other sweets available. I have only had breakfast their and it was pretty good."

"2 of us wandered in out of curiosity. No queue and immediate service. We liked that. All the tables around us had ordered the signature pork buns, egg sponge cake and chicken feet (my favourite but not my wife's). We tried the pork buns, rice with chicken, sausage and mushroom, congee and pork cheung fun. The pork buns were too sweet for my taste but the other dishes were very good, especially the skin of the cheung fun and the rice. Prices were around $7.50 - 10 per dish. I'll try the chickens feet next time."

"I often passed Ramen Bankara without notice, and this time I went in; I'm glad I did. The ramen was very good, with a delicious soup and half a soft boiled egg. It also had some slices of pigs that were...available. I also had a green melon drink from Japan, which was sweet and fruity. The restaurant is built in an old-fashioned Japanese style, similar to that we have in Sapporo dined. Noodles are popuar in Japan, Ramen is almost the national court. Ramen Bankara has been open for about three years."
