"Mexican food in Italy? Florence in particular? If you live in Mexico, or live close to its border, you probably have firsthand knowledge of what Mexican food is, and what it is not. The Mexican food at Tijuana falls in the what it is not category. I ordered the beef fajitas, my wife the pollo guacamole ensalata. My wife said the salad was OK. I say the fajitas left a lot to be desired. The cooked portions had a strong citrus marinade flavor, there were no flour tortillas, we were supposed to get salsa as a condiment but received none even after asking for it a second time. The rice was dry, the frijoles bland. The guacamole was ok, as was the margarita to wash it all down. You may think what was I expecting and you 'd be right to ask. It was an experiment, one that kind of failed overall."

"Had a delicious pizza and amazing pasta dish definitely recommend the gnocchi Gorgonzola! Can't say anything about the atmosphere as we weren't lucky enough to actually enjoy dinner at the bar. We had to take away. It's in a side street next to parking Parterre, so very nice place to try out if you are in the area."

"Ate lunch twice here during a weekend break. It was great as so many places had huge queues. Guessing it is because not Italian food it was quieter. Had nachos and burritos which were excellent! Self service. Girl serving was really good. Definitely recommend!"

"If you like Mexican menudo , you can handle the tripe sandwich! I thought lampredotto was cow uterus, but I had to try that too after hearing about it from Andrew Zimmer of Bizarre Foods TV show. I 'm still not sure what part of the cow it is. Hey, I 'd have either one again. I ordered in my very basic Italian, and the couple working at the kiosk were patient and polite although very busy fulfilling all the other orders while I sat at the side of their food kiosk, waiting for the tripe to finish steaming. They apparently aren 't open on Sundays, so I was lucky to find them at noon on a weekday. I smothered both sandwiches in optional red Sri Raka Thai hot sauce just like they have in the USA. Not a bad idea if you are a little bit chicken, to try, but even without it, I 'd have liked the organ sandwiches and now I 'm kinda craving those weird sandwiches on crusty white loaves, which are so traditionally Florentine! The atmosphere was fun, authentic and laid back...just hungry Italians awaiting their traditional quick lunch treats while passers-by went on about daily city life in a tiny but very ancient square very near Dante 's house and museum...how great a memory was that!. I saved the lampredotto sandwich in foil for the late afternoon flight back to London. Yummy! Better than anything Brit Airways could have thought up to serve!"

"The average sushi, being a à la carte restaurant and not the usual all you can It I expected a much higher quality than that proposal, instead it did not touch even the sufficiency .insipido the rice roosters taste more). I took the box for 2 people, 5 pieces of tuna and 5 pieces of salmon at least the latter good). Nothing to envy to others at you can It of the area ...a difference there is here eating less and pay more in the other food more and pay the right! !"
