"It was the sign that caught my attention. Anytime I see 'coffee roasters', I have no choice but to pull the car over and stop. It's in my DNA, what can I say.It looks like an old house, a bit weather beaten, with a few mismatched tables and chairs within the picket fenced front yard, peeling paint, a few dying flowers, and I'll admit, I did hesitate and paused partway up the walk to confirm I wasn't about to enter someone's home. The tip off however, was the delightful aroma of espresso that trailed a patron as she opened the screen door and passed me with coffee cup in hand.Stepping inside, I was engulfed by fumes of delight, and the welcoming sounds of friends deep in conversation, seated in armchairs, at tables, both within the main retail section, and gathered in secondary rooms that at one time would have been bedrooms or perhaps the dining room. Great atmosphere, good vibes.The low counter displayed various bakery items, and served to separate the kitchen staff in the kitchen from the customers. I was greeted with a big smile, and when I asked about their freshly roasted coffee beans, I was directed to the Roast Master, who, while pointing to the vacuum sealed bags along the wall, gave a brief description of the virtues of various blends.I had just finished lunch, and as much as I would have enjoyed a brief respite on the front lawn with coffee in hand, I purchased a pound of their Mexican blend, and headed for home.It appears to be an enjoyable place to visit, and Ma Kettle and I have intentions to return sooner rather than later, to give their arm chairs a test drive."

"New to Mexican food. We're from the UK so weren't too familiar with Mexican food but the guy who's always there (I presume the owner? was super-friendly and explained all the options to us.<br/ <br/ We're now Burrito-converts and would definitely recommend it."

"This is way tastier than Taco Bell or Tacotime. The food is fresh. Same idea as subway - you pick what you want in your burrito. Fresh and healthy. Service is always good."

"My son works in Okotoks and has visited this place a couple of times and just raves about it, calling it the next best thing to be in Mexico.So, on a nice June weekday, we picked him up at work and drove to cafe Cancun for lunch.Since it was a working day for him and we were driving in from Calgary, we had soft drinks and coffees to start.Our mistake was ordering the Saratoga chips as an appetizer. Not because it was not good (it was delicious,) but because there was so much and our main courses were so large. I had a bean soup special, nice and creamy and a bit spicy. We ordered the Mexican hotdog, the chicken empanada and the shrimp tacos. All were outstanding and way too much to eat.Total before tip was $75, a bit high, but not at all out of line for the flavour, the quality and the portions.If in the neighbourhood, you must try this place. BTW, service was outstanding and very friendly."

"Delicious Mexican food and huge portions. They were not stingy on fresh ingredients! Ordered the breakfast quesadilla and chilaquiles with shredded chicken. Service was great and will definitely visit again. I went on a Saturday morning and there was at least a 45min lineup so keep that in mind. We were so full so we ordered the scones to go and had them the next day. They were so good, highly recommend!"
