"Delicious food! we had the carne asada plate and enmoladas de pollo. both were fantastic! boren rice are also very tasty. great service. handmade tortillas that taste homemade. wonderful service. very clean restaurant, logs and bath. feels very safe to eat here during the pandemic. fyi bring venmo, cash app or cash. no cards. we come back! many thanks for a great meal!"

"Excellent and authentic Mexican food. I'm glad I discovered this place a while back. At first I felt out of place being the only brother in the restaurant but the staff made me feel right at home literally. All had smiles and are a good crew of staff. They were about to close 6 minutes before 9pm. Instead of turning us away, the chef/cook was kind enough to turn his burners back on to serve us. Most places would have said no but they said yes! And the food is the best Mexican food I've tasted in Paramount (and I've been to a few good spots in the area). Please don't ever change your authentic recipes! ?"

"I happened to arrive a few minutes after they opened at 7am. The glass case was already full but the signs weren 't out yet so the super friendly staff person told me what each donut was. I knew what most of the flavors were but I 'm also very obviously not Mexican so she offered me some helpful explanations too. Jamaica is a dried hibiscus. Abuelita is a popular hot chocolate. I ordered a box of 6, which runs $14.50. I also picked one donut which was extra fancy so that one had an upcharge of $1.50, so altogether these ran $16 for a half dozen. The packaging is so nice, plus they 're using brand-name products, a lot of pricey ingredients, and are operating in the midst of supply chain issues so I guess the prices aren 't totally out of wack.Ordered a choco mazapan, apple pie w/cajeta, Abuelita chocolate, horchata, La Maria w/cajeta and the famous cookie, plus a light brown one that I couldn 't remember and which was so gently flavored that I never could figure out what I was eating. The choco mazapan was hands down the favorite with the salty, sweet, milky peanutty candy on top. Everything was true to the proper flavors. A fun novelty and great conversation piece to bring to your next party instead of a boring cake or pie!"
