"Fried Pig Ear papaya salad: Overly salty dressing and batter 2/5. Very crispy skin tho. Not as crunchy papaya shreds but a lot of greens. Pho classic: noodle to meat ratio imbalanced, nice flavor and good tendon and oxtail(shredded). Spicy paste 10/10. Pork shoulder noodle: Love the noodles, pickled daikon is nice. Crunchy spring meat roll. Broth is like a sauce. Drinks: salt lime soda5/5. Bamboozled. Bathroom is nice. spacious and cute."

"We have booked a reservation for our wedding anniversary and requested a table at the window/with in view. we arrived and no one seemed aware of the question. they literally sat us in a room around the corner, not even as a part of the dining room. that was under average. it was almost $100 for two omelette, orange juice and foam water. we were in less than an hour and out. when we were gone, I saw open tables along the window. it was something we were looking forward to when we married there 29 years ago. we were so disappointed. maybe they save all good tables for guests staying in the hotel. what a highlight should be was a disappointment!"

"We were late for our reservation, but Chuck's kindly held the table for us. Tableside Caesar salad was amazing. Our mains were bit of a wait, but before we could complain, our server apologized and they appeared shortly after. Amazing food and portions were well suited. Our steaks were perfectly done! Due to the small delay in our mains, manager sent over a sinful skor Sundae that although we were much too full for, we devoured. Excellent service and kudos to management for staying on top of service."

"Sorry to discover that this place has gone downhill. The food was always simple and easily recreated at home, but it’s gone from dishes you might encounter at a stylish friend’s casual dinner party to things you’d get from a home cook who really doesn’t care about food: a mezze plate of bland hummus with dull carrot sticks, a mushy mixture of overcooked quinoa and soggy vegetables with canned chickpeas and a chalky poached egg, etc. I’ve never written a review of a restaurant before but this was really disappointing. And the service was indifferent verging on irritable."

"Came here for dinner the other night for a casual birthday dinner and we had a nice time! We got the Boudin Balls and free Chips and Queso to start. The boudin balls were great, but definitely needed the sauce, otherwise, they were a little in the dry side. Queso is always good, but I especially liked their chips. I ordered the Pecan Crusted Redfish for dinner and it was a lot bigger than I expected! Also, very delicious, especially the sauce! I don't think I've had redfish before, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Pros: Good food, plenty of parking, friendly servers. Cons: Freezing cold in there"

"The restaurant was very noisy to the point of discomfort. The menu was interesting, the food very good and the service outstanding which makes me uncomfortable not to recommend it, but the noise level overwhelmed the good features. The restaurant has hard surfaces that reflect the noise. The louder the customers were forced to speak, the worse the atmosphere became."

"We had an AMAZING time at The News Room. We tried to post for the Villanova/Michigan game and they were a bit packed, but the staff went out to make sure we had a great place in front of a TV with our game. The food was great too. I went ahead and built my own burger, but the menu is so eclectic that if you don't find anything on it, you're crazy. Overall, this can be a new booklet for me and my trips to MN."
