"Hair in food. Burger was burnt to the point it was crumbling. Bread and olives took 40 minutes to arrive. Truly embarrassing. I felt bad for the service staff who didn’t have any responsibility for the issues. Shame, what happened to this place? We could hear the kitchen staff complaining about our issues with the food as we were sat right in front of the doors. The table before us were complaining too. There was 3 tables of 2 in the restaurant. So not busy at all. I used to love it here. This was the second time having a bad meal as we were invited back to give them a second chance."

"Very nice visit and eat. it was not busy and had a nice atmosphere. at the arrival we were told which tables were available and to choose which we wanted. it was also ordering the bar. I had the sweet potato-kickpea-curry and it was nice. it might have been a bit bigger part for the price. my man had the winner-shin-dinner. he enjoyed the meal, but he could also have been a greater part. we had both a place for one dessert and both ordered the black forest sun (vegan.) it was beautiful and had many black cherry and sauces. we had a good experience today."

"The Healing Shrine café has several vegan options. I ordered the Tofu salad and my father ordered the soup of the day. I asked to confirm that the bread, the spread and dressings that come with the salad were also vegan (a few venue slip-ups in the past has taught me not to accept), which actually caused a little confusion for my surprise, but after a discussion with other employees, it was solved. We were a little early to order the food as they did not begin to serve food until 12 a.m., but after a little wait, the meals came immediately after this time. I was thrilled with the aromas and the construction of my salad, also the bread was deliciously soft and fluffy. My father enjoyed his soup and also commented on how fresh the bread was. The interior is very modern, clean and uplifted, and despite my expectations that at this time it was quite quiet, it had a great atmosphere, with small groups of people already enjoying themselves in place. The place is very accessible; I noticed wheelchair users and people with buggies with few problems. The toilets were also easily accessible, although I think that the entrance to the cafe could be a little tight without help, so something could be in mind. I am thrilled with the options for vegans, with clear labelling systems, I think a little update with the staff so that they fully understand the menu and nutrition requirements would be a good way forward. "Purely visited because we drove past the week before and I saw online to see if they had vegan options and was impressed by what I saw. Served for tea, warm welcome from the staff, in fact all the staff we met were all very friendly and helpful. We ordered laborious tortilla chips and sweet squirrels to start fritters, followed by cauliflower steak and although I did not ask gluten-free for a gf version of banana blossom fish and chips. The dishes were beautifully presented and good portions. The whole food was delicious and very satisfying. I have eaten banana blossom fish and chips in several places, and that was the best, the dough was light and not oily or greasy. We were too full for Dessert, though we were tried. Revisited for Valentines, as they had vegan options, was the starter of peas waste Ravioli delicious. The mushroom and chestnut trudel with engraving was beautiful, although I did not like the strongly spiced Petersnip mash and the roast pineapple dessert was too sweet. Only something to improve would be the identification which wines and drinks are vegan friendly. Two options for breakfast was a complete vegan garden breakfast or vegan sausage and hash brown sandwich. The garden breakfast was great with vegan spread available, although not safe over vegetable milk as I mean. Excellent coffee. For lunch on April 1 to try the new vegan options on the menu. ordered hairstyles with Mayo, Linguine with meatballs and eggplants and beans chili.. The food was delicious and the service was also great. Great a small pub company offers vegan options, so will definitely be new. Updated by previous review on 2022-04-04"
