"We have been to the New Inn twice since it re-opened. I wasn't happy with the first visit but we wanted to give it another chance. On this occasion a member of the staff was so theatrical at asking what we wanted then when the food came it was even more theatrical. The main course of lamb was okay, but it costed £24.95 each. My sweet, Creme Brulee was like a small moose, £7.95. What really shocked us was the double gin tonic, considering that we were in a pub, £14.85 was absolutely extortionate!! The bill was over £100. Even though the New Inn is only up the road, we will not be going back."

"OVER PRICED /RUDE STAFF Visited as a group of looking forward to a nice fry up, when placing my order the polish lady on the till was very grumpy, I asked if I could change items for a extra sausage she just nodded...,and my tea for a small cartoon of orange juice , she just replied NO , when my breakfast came I thought I had been given a kids breakfast, I asked another lady I think I’ve another sausage coming ,and she just walked off, I’m not sure if she spoke English but I’m sure she new what I said ,my sausage never came and when I mentioned it again she said I had extra bacon, my brekfast was and rubbish ,It was very disappointing from start to finish and expensive for what you receive ."
