"Ordered Halibut, it was gray in some parts, was not cooked well (undercooked) even the chips were a little hard still. Gave feedback to the server who was going to tell the cook/owner who did not come and speak to us even though we were the only 2 people in the restaurant. Very disappointed.Let's hope it was just an off day for the cook because I was told it was a great place for Fish Chips. ?"

"We live literally around the corner from this place and always see insta worthy plates being posted on social media so decided to turn up around 9am one Sunday morning. No wait which was great because this place gets busy. My husband ordered the brisket poutine and I ordered the avocado toast. I didn 't want hash browns with my toast so I subbed in a side of fruit. My toast was soggy and the toppings were really sad and looked and tasted old and on the verge of going bad. My 'side of fruit ' was ONE slice of orange, ONE small slice of grapefruit and ONE strawberry! I was so so disappointed especially for $17. I should have complained but I hate complaining, plus what are they going to do? go to a store and get fresh ingredients? My husband was happier about his meal but it was probably about 30% smaller than the dish in any pic you will see on social media, plus the hash browns were the bottom of the barrel ends of potatoes, which was weird seeing as though it was early. Service was fine, Coffee was good and a full bar starts at 10am but yeah....will NOT be going back for the food...yuck."

"The dining area for one was very uncomfortable and quite cold. Service was very slow as it took minutes for my water to arrive. The restaurant vibe was very energetic (which I understand) but I wish they took better care of me as a customer. Food was however, always a delight. Thank you!"

"My friend Seano was at it again this week with another 17th avenue food recommendation. If you've read some of my previous reviews you'll know he loves running his mouth about his favourite "eats". He missed the mark with this one though I feel...he called the Sate Soup Beef "immaculate" so I was expecting it to be well delicious. In the end it was fairly average.There are better places for Pho around Calgary for the same price, I doubt I would bother coming back to give them a second chance. The world of Pho is cut-throat."

"This place is guaranteed great pho. Any time of any day. In the heart of Forest Lawn, many local patrons are a sure sign its quality and authentic. I've eaten here at least three times (lunch/dinner/late night), with different groups of people, the last one being my 13-year-old nephew who was new to pho.We all ate pho and shared some salad rolls. We were all very full when we left and none of us could finish our meals...my nephew had just finished playing a game of basketball and was famished.The service is great and the entire establishment is bright, updated and spotlessly clean, including the restrooms.Prices are average at about $11 per pho and each one comes with a heaping plate of the typical mug beans, peppers, mint and vietnamese parsley."

"My wife and I stopped in for the buffet lunch recently and were pleasantly surprised. I found the ambiance in the relatively small space to be great and the service was excellent. The food was very tasty and I found it to be very authentic to a recent trip to India. The beef curry and tandoori chicken on the buffet were spot on!"
