I rarely found rice noodle in (only) beef tripe soup on a Vietnamese restaurant menu, so I quickly placed my order. The pho was served within three minutes. The tripe was big and thick. It needed extra crunching effort but that was what I enjoyed about tripe. The soup was not salty, but tasty in a bland manner, lacking aroma and spices. I disliked it even more when I had to guzzle down half a litre of water to quench my thirst after my lunch."

"I have been to Vietnam and have come to love Pho. While the Pho is a little different from Vietnam it is very tasty and the beef is much better - must be the Aussie beef!!The staff are extremely friendly and are ready to advise anyone looking for guidance on combinations, spices etc.To be honest I have not tried the other food except the spring rolls which are delicious but are served as a meal rather than as a side order (which is a bit of a shame).Located in the Mandarin Centre at the top of the escalators. It is part of the food court seating but overall this centre has a great atmosphere anyway for families or singles alike."

"Dinner on a Monday night. The whole district area was pretty quiet. Chose Petaling mainly because it was the first place when you walk in. I had the claypot short rice noodle. It came with mince pork. Doesn't look pretty but I enjoyed it. Nice soy flavour. A little on oily side. Would have liked some greens through it. Decent amount for $12.90. My friend had noodles with chicken. She was not impressed with her meal. She didn't elaborate much on that."
