"The staff were miserable and rude. Ordered a full English but didn’t want one item and was told immediately we don’t do swaps or substitutes. Asked for hash browns was told you only get one. The bacon was undercooked the sausage was cut in half as they clearly can’t probe the temp of it to make sure they’re cooked. The beans were all over the plate the black pudding was so over cooked it was crispy and the eggs were horrendous. Also it was £12 including a tea…"

"We ordered a take away, nearly 2 hrs later no food! We called to ask when our order would arrive and were told at least another 20mins and were told we would get a call back within 5 minutes for an update and what they could do for the inconvenience. 20mins later no phone, no food. So we called back again to be told our food was on its way and we would get a 10% refund on an order that was over £100. The food arrived about 10mins after that and was stone cold. We called again but apparently there wasn’t anyone we could talk to as the manger wasn’t there!! We ordered this a weekend treat for the family which sadly was completely ruined by this experience."

"Lovely afternoon high tea. A treat for a birthday! Finger sandwiches, cakes, mini apple crumble and scones with clotted cream. Extensive tea menu and as much as you want included. Quaint cosy interior. Very friendly, excellent service."
