"I was in France several times and in some regions you will find the almost food kebab (and now French tacos). it is a sandwich on a soft, demi-lune brot (that is semicircle for them anglos) that is nothing like pita. the brot is warm,...often roasted, and the filling contains a type of peeled meat (dink schish taouk or shawarma,) salat, various vegetables and a sosse. oasis is right! the kebabs are fresh, tasty and super affordable. the resto also receives the recognition for the renewal, with orange and violet as their colors (to go with white). to be honest, this place was totally dingy inside, but now it looks stylish (for fast eating naturally)."

"We had intended to eat at Le Bombay, almost next door, but found it was fully booked. Torrential rain was falling and my son and wife were not keen to venture far so they wanted to try Le Mezze. I had never eaten Lebanese food so was not at all keen but I could see it was very busy and my family were being persuasive! On entry they said they too were fully booked but given a few minutes they found us a table. The atmosphere was terrific and it really made you feel that you could be in Lebanon. I had no idea what the food would be like but when it came it looked and tasted much like I had enjoyed in Turkey. We all enjoyed our meal very much and the Lebanese wine was a revelation. Next time I see a Lebanese restaurant I will take much more interest and certainly not walk by without a glance. In fact I might just search out my local Lebanese restaurant!"

"I went here so I could eat quickly, and I was curious about the idea of the fast food. I had a meal which was a large rectangular tray with chips (french fries), rice, pieces of chicken, salad etc all in one, with some small cheese nans and a soft drink all for something like 10 euros. Amazing value. Not especially cosy, being clean and brightly lit inside, but the food was surprisingly good, very tasty, and very quick. Only complaint? That the nans all contain cheese. But that's a small point. Overall very good."
