"Ended up at The Purbani following a disappointing visit to another local hostelry. On arrival we had to wait for a short time for a table but we were then sat in a comfortable booth. After ordering drinks we notice that the premises were quite drab and that a lot of the wall decor and lighting had been removed. We had visited the Purbani on quite a few occasions previously but the atmosphere had changed somewhat. We ordered two chicken passandas and a chicken biriani with a tandoori mixed grill and naan bread. How can it be described, a bit like the decor Drab. The passandas had so much sugar in them that it was like a chicken candy floss. The mixed grill was acceptable and the biriani was only passable. The naan was soft and doughy it needed a bit more cooking time. Shame as this Indian was always very good but standards have definitely dropped. Will try it again at some time in the future and can only hope that is is better then."

"We have been visiting OffBeet for some time, from their cafe in Wickham, to their restaurant at Sunnyfields and have never been disappointed. We were devastated to learn they were leaving Sunnyfields, but made the trip to their new location this month and it was so worth it! The food was incredible, the cocktails were beautiful, the staff are so welcoming and the decor is level with some of the top restaurants in the country! I would recommend OffBeet to vegans and non-vegans alike."
