"Best friend showed us this hidden gem years ago.. great to be back and enjoying the good food!! quality is amazing!! got the super toro roll.. nice and fatty with salmon and avocado.. halloween roll.. for the slight spicy lover.. long beach roll.. for a good refreshing taste.. will try more kitchen items next time.. was smelling some seared fish in the air and defintely got my mouth watering.. "I went to this place for the second time tonight. Last time was on a Wednesday and they didn't have a lot of special fish. The chef said they will get fresh fish tomorrow. It makes sense. Usually sushi restaurants get their fresh fish on Thursday to get rest for the weekend. But tonight was actually worse. We ordered a bunch of things. The fried chicken livers were good. The fried soft shell crab appetizer was good but the fried noodles on top were very stale. The miso soup was old like from two days ago. The chirashi was terrible. The rice was stale and the yellowtail and the salmon were discolorated old. Overall, this was not an experience from a sushi place that has a Japanese sushi chef. That's probably why the place isn't that busy. Our bill was $110 and I tipped $20 because the service was good. Will probably not go here again."

"This Yama location has several vegan options. The location is very clean and comfortable. Food is always fresh and delicious. We've been going here for several years and it's our favorite restaurant and they definitely have the best veggie sushi. Staff and owners are wonderful and friendly."

"This was our first time here, and they treated us like lifelong customers. I was so happy with my experience that I’m in my car right after eating to write this review. Every staff member was so friendly, not to mention the food was delicious! If you are looking for a warm, welcoming environment, this is the perfect restaurant.Kid-friendliness: This restaurant was by far the nicest and friendliest service ever. They made sure everyone’s drinks were full and plates were taken off the table. Amazing and friendly people.Parking: The parking lot was huge plenty of parking"

"Yu-Mi Sushi's staff make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Even when they are busy you are taken care of.Food. Both presentation (please see picture) and flavor are incredible. The sushi chefs are highly skilled and take pride in their craft.I am no Gordon Ramsey or Anthony Bourdain but I give this establishment 10/10."

"I’ve been getting food from Sarku for years, but at this point I have to say that I’m done. It’s clear they don’t respect customers who order delivery via DoorDash. You pay a premium for the convenience and they give you way less food because you’re not standing in front of them. This is the third time this has happened, so shame on me for giving them the benefit of the doubt twice. This was an order with “double meat”."

"We love this Sakura Sushi restaurant! First of all, the location is 5mins from where we live. Once you try, you can?t deny that the food quality is so good (fair price for the sushi in comparison with everywhere?s else) , plus they often offer new items in their menu, never feel boring with the same taste of food here. Whenever you sit down, the waitress will bring you a free small cucumber salad and a pineapple ???? smoothie ????. One more thing I give them 5* because they seems to be the only who stay open(dine-in) late. Highly recommended!!!"
