"Lovely outdoor seating area, pet friendly, helpful friendly staff. Great place to study/work. Parking can be an issue since the place is quite popular, even midweek. Coffee was an excellent size, I got an iced latte with maple. It could 've been sweeter, I could barely taste the maple. However, the coffee itself was very smooth. I ordered the potato hash but removed the eggs and added avo. Wasn 't able to 'swap ' items due to their system, which made it feel like I was overcharged for something I didn 't even get. Menu items we 're already quite pricey, which is standard for the area. Overall great meal, just lost a star because their system wouldn 't allow for menu item adjustments, resulting in paying for things I didn 't get (wanted to remove eggs due to allergy)."

"Had a Groupon dinner at this nice set-up Japanese restaurant last night. Service was very friendly and attentive. The deal involves entrée, main course and dessert. Firstly, Edamame was came to the table with sushi rolls. The salt on the edamame was just spot on, however, the sushi rice needed a little more of vinegar. Wagyu skewers were perfectly done and was the hero of the night. Gyoza was above average, miso soup was just very very average as compared to what I had in Hokkaido. The yakitori was done with juicy thigh meat, thumb-up! It was really matched with the steamed rice. Surprisingly, this restaurant did serve very good ice-cream. We had the yuzu and black sesame. Both had very strong flavour and nice texture. Definitely, these dessert gained a lot of marks. Overall experience was impressive. Highly recommended."

"Highly recommend the deep fried oysters and Bangalore pork katsudon! I know it’s a place for people that want a BBQ style meal but we were very impressed by these two dishes. The other two are the Kyoto bento and another ramen (I think it was tonkotsu-soy)."

"A fantastic family run Japanese restaurant in Robina. We walked in and tried several dishes and each one of them were balanced, tasty and well presented. The pricing was more than reasonable. We had the Agedashi Tofu, Salmon Nigiri, Pork Gyoza, Teriyaki Sweet Chilli Tofu, Wagyu Beef with Salad, Kinoto ChaShu Ramen Chicken Nanban. We also tried the Kinoto Parfait. All our dishes were outstanding and topped off with the friendliness of the family. We read the reviews about the place before we tried here and I am not sure if some of the 1 star reviews are accurate. Kinoto Japanese restaurant deserved our 5 star rating and we will be dining here again soon."
