"We were welcomed by Hiro and his staff as we sat at the sushi bar. Hiro is the itamae-san and whipped up some special treats we have not had in a while. We started with Kawahagi (Fish jerky), beer and a bottle of very cold unfiltered sake. Then proceeded on to Edamame, Chilean Seabass with miso sauce, Oyster Fry, Ika and mentaiko with a quail egg, several temaki with ikura and mentaiko, toro, uni (very good and sweet) and finally finished with Banana Tempura. The entire experience was wonderful. The food was all fantastic. Hiro was not rushed, was friendly and easy to talk to. He has been back in his old location for about a year. I wish we had known sooner!"

"I expected the restaurant that a table is ready for six, unfortunately this was not the case. the table was not ready, the reservation was not in the system after the young lady who welcomed my family and I. she let me know that the waiting time for a table would be 5 to 10 minutes. false we waited thirty minutes. the restaurant was not full when we arrived. I was disappointed that I did not have our table better prepared, not even our reservation in the system."

"This was one of Miami's first sushi restaurants. The original owner was Japanese and he created a trendy and hip place to have good sushi. I've been going since it first opened and haven't gone back in the past 6 years. Don't get me wrong, this place has good atmosphere and friendly staff, however, I like to have good sushi, period! Hiro's sushi has declined to a point where Publix (a chain supermarket) has an equal alternative. I agreed with the first reviewer. This place is good to have a drink and MAYBE a California roll. Don't go out of your way for it. Bottom line: if you like sushi, then find another alternative. If you can't tell the difference, then you might like this place."

"The comfort eating they didn't know they needed it. the black bowl is the best bowl here. they add a order of shanghai suppenknödel and they have the next ding to the sky on the earth. dumplings really fill empty. for dessert, blase brown sugar milk tee and they are set. Mom pop service. do not forget to tap!"

"Went to Yakko Bistro for dinner and was very pleasantly surprised by the Japanese oriented theme of the restaurant. The food was quite good and I tried dey ramen for the first time and it was soo good with the Chashu. The veg sushi was also very good with a good crunch on sesame on the outside and cucumber on the inside. The staff was very friendly and kind. I would definitely recommend visiting this Japanese restaurant for your sushi and ramen needs. And they have more too. Must try!!"
