"Samu Eats, Teachers Village It's another good find inside the Zone Compound at Malingap Street. Will definitely be one of our go-to places when craving for some Japanice. Good meals at an affordable price. You should try their Musubi aka Spam Maki, so so good!"

"I went there for a take out. The service crew was not attentive and focused and we were just like 4 there to be attended to. Theres no urgency, eve one was just so busy doing their thing and no one seems to know what customer service is all about. Not going there again."

"Super love their Beef Pepper Rice & Kani Salad. Those are the two things we order all the time + water. My only gripe is that the hot plates are always served too hot, so I can't eat my food right away. The husband doesn't seem bothered by that though because he finishes his food within a few minutes - never mind that it's hot. Haha!

memetdiaries.blogspot.com"

"Very tasty fried chicken with servings that are good for sharing. I like that the spicy version was actually hot and spicy. Backstory: I have trust issues with food labeled as spicy especially in restos.

I would have enjoyed it more though if it was a breast fillet. Not actually sure if they have white meat portions but it was my fault for not asking anyway.

The mac and four cheese was a little bland for me but can be easily adjusted with some salt.

Overall, I loved the food and based on my customer experience delivered by their staff, a visit must happen again.

And oh one last thing, please ready your wallets as the prices do not come cheap. ????"

"Zipang is a small, hidden Japanese restaurant somewhere in 11th Jamboree, Kamuning. I've been here a couple of times and always see the Japanese chef/owner of this restaurant preparing our meal.

It's a small restaurant that specializes Nagano cuisine, where the chef is from.

We ordered Agedashi Tofu, Mix Furai Teishoku, and Sanzokuyaki Teishoku.

The agedashi tofu was thinly battered and fried to crisp, served with a light soy sauce blend. I like how they do they agedashi with a thin skin of crust thats crispy, combined with the silky, smooth, soft tofu that is perfectly flavored with the sauce and katsuboshi. It was just melting and plating flavors in your tongue.

Sanzokuyaki teishoku was served with miso soup, a vegetable side dish, tuna skin pickle, rice, and the meat. The meat serving was good for 2-3 pax. It's basically marinated fried chicken. The chicken thigh fillets was moist and flavorful. The crispy crust was the bomb. It did remind me of Taiwanese fried chicken fillet, but crispier and tastier. It doesn't have a sauce to accompany it, but its already flavorful by itself.

Zipang means Japan. It'll bring you to how restaurants in Japan are, small, simple, and personalized by the chef. If the chefs out, it's closed.

I have been visiting here for quite sometime and Masashi-san always greet us with a smile and shows the Japanese hospitality.

#TheFoodCrawlers #OngsFoodprints #TheLostDiego"

"One of the quietest branches of Tokyo Tokyo. A small number of people dine here, maybe because it was hard to find, but it was great. I have already visited this branch twice."

"I am happy that Little Zen Sushi gave me an authentic Japanese ramen experience at a ridiculously cheap price. Everything on their bowl was on point; the soft boiled egg marinated in soy, the tasty chashu slice, and the rich sesame broth of the tantanmen ramen!
Can't wait to try the shio and Miso! But for the amazing tantanmen alone, 5 stars guys! Good job!"
